Please don't use bleach on your skin!! It's possible that you've already irritated your skin beneath the fake tan, and that's what's making it look darker. I know it's an expense but you really might be best going and getting some of the fake-tan remover ... Bleach can burn and you wouldn't want to end up with scarring.

Have you tried anything like Swarfega? I managed to get some henna off my skin with that.

hair removal cream is good for getting rid of errant hair dye (as well as errant hair ;) ) might be worth a go?
  • I got a salon spray tan for my wedding and the morning before i was back to the salon shouting at the woman for something to make the orange streaks go away. So many people had told us not to do it and she assured us that we wouldn't look like we had been tangoed. The drier patches of skin are usually the worse affected. She told me to go out and get a bottle of Lemon Cif. It worked too, i used it with an exfoliating sponge. It was pretty gruesome and took some time but was eventually streak free
Nicotine Free as of 17th December 06 :j

When I spoke to the company he said I could try the san tropez remover at my own risk no guarantee it would work this stuff is so much deeper than that stuff.Bleach tried a tiny bit, stung.Tried bathroom cleaner didnt help.washing powder. No ! The think that helped a little is spa boots shower wash no exfoliator involved and its faded it a bit.Heard of Swarfega but I dont know what it is.I dont think any of this stuff will work.Im going to concentrate using the spa wash from Boots seems helpful. But having a rest now, a bit sore going to use moisturiser.Lemon cif,Thanks It crossed my mind That is good stuff will try ! Maybe look for some Imac,While Im recovering. This stuff should carry a health warning.

I once used hair removing cream on my legs and my (real) tan came off! Worth a try, but not if your skin is broken or raw. As for turps or bleach, they are ok for paintbrushes and toilets but you need to keep your skin moisurised and in good condition.

As fluff said "youve actually dyed your top layers of skin so exfoliation really is only way.Shower and scrub.Should go in a few days."
Otherwise it's keep covered and lots of make up.
  • Try calling Michael Jackson and asking for some pointers
  • I have found that the best thing to remove fake tan is face toner. I recently had a bad experience involving sudo and st tropez and had nearly black elbows and uneven streaky hands, I used toner on a towel and found this worked fab as it removes the tan gradualy so u don't end up with white patches. Please only use toner that can be used on your face. Hope this helps those of you with similar problems.

    You never know. :rotfl:

They may still be stuck in their house trying all the stuff from under the sink.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine
