Hoping we can get seven nights.
La Bien is perfect for that, there were a few people that used it as a base to go everywhere while we were there and Bruge is amazing!! We are going again in feb and have booked a hotel in the centre so we can really enjoy it - the kids are desperate to go on the horse drawn carriages this time round too. Make sure you give the candied orange slices dipped in chocolate a go - they are lush!!! I did our break down cover with the tunnel booking too - it covered alot more than going with the AA / Rac directly.
If you get la Bien and need any help with anything the english guy that works in the bar is really helpful - he has a pony tail and is red headed - he gave us some great tips for getting around and knew all of the best places to go x0 -
Also, it should be said that the whole park is on the 'hilly' side so if you do have limited mobility or heavy pushchairs or wheelchairs then it can make life very difficult. Lovely park though and some fantastic views from many parts of the park :-)
Does anyone know if Devon Cliffs have many accessible caravans with ramps.

i use dummy dates if i have a specific park i wish to book on certain dates. The site works by asking you to enter several parks/ dates at the same time and then offers you one of the available parks/dates which maybe not be the one you want, but by entering parks/dates you know are not available you shorten the searching process
If you book when the site opens you should get your first choice.
We always do.0 -
I find French sites are much better / nicer in general than UK sites
you do not pay for entertainments passes either
we have been to
La Croix Du Vieux Pont 3 times ( 1 hour drive from Disneyland Paris )
Le Chene Gris ( purely as a base for Disney 15 mins drive
Le Ranolien in Brittany, fab site an gorgeous location
Les Mouettes ( only 20 mins drive from Roscoff )
Hoping for Les Menhirs in Carnac this time
we only do European SUN hols now really ,you save loads ( we can only go during school holidays)
Because of the information you and lillady have given in the past, I plucked up the courage to book La Croix last year. It was fantastic!!! It was our first time using the tunnel too, and that was also a good experience.
We were going to stay in England this time, but I'm now thinking that if we drive all the way down to the south coast we might as well go to France. We might just choose a site more north this time, so we have a shorter drive.0 -
Why no dates in June, July or August? Have they stopped holidays in those months?
Me and OH went to Duinrell in Holland last year in June and I am sure I booked it in January. We were hoping to go there again this June. The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -
!!!!!! COME ON!!!!! Stamps foot impatiently.......0

Anyone booking butlins etc check THEIR site first, we booked with a sun holiday last year and ended up not using as it was so much cheaper booking it direct we sacrificed the £38 we had paid and booked direct...i suppose its the same with all of the sites, just dont assume that the sun holiday is always the best deal - it obviously depends on your dates etc.0
