Was Park des Alicourts a busy site?

It is a lovely site quite large, it has 3 lovely pool and a lake which you can swim and hire pedalos in. There is fantastic entertainment in the evening for the kids and the usual kids clubs in the days.
There are some beautiful towns and chateaus to visit nearby.
  • Just looking at the dates available and they're mainly in term time. Last year we managed to get the August bank holiday weekend so we were hoping there would be some available for the summer holidays.
Do they make those dates available on a later promotion? Knew we were lucky last time but was hoping there would be some again. Thanks.
  • hi what is the best place to go in Europe was looking to go in the April holidays with hubby and our 5 kids aged 11, 10, 8, 4 and 4 months? We will be driving so doesn't matter if it's hard to get to. We have driven to Italy before.

Thanks that is what I was thinking but I am trying to book for another family member as well so was hoping to use the ipad and desktop at the same time to make sure we both get it.

I'm doing exactly the same thing. I'm using a friends code to book us a girls weekend away, as she's never done it efore and is not confident about booking.
At the same time, my dh will be booking our (hopefully european) holiday on his lap top. Perhaps it will be ok. You cold give it a go, and if there's a Problem then just do the first one as quickly as possible and then the second one, and keep your fingers crossed. Good luck. X

I was thinking about that one in Holland the other day, I mentioned it to my husband!

    Did you fly to Tuscany?

I feel silly excited about all this!

Yes we flew to Pisa with Ryanair I think it was about £60 for the return! There is a train station right outside Pisa airport then just one change at Florence Station. Trains are very reasonably priced over there.
  • I've booked a couple of times on my ipad and had no probs :)

Oh, and what's the weather like in Holland in October? And is the water park great?

We haven't been in October - we've done the 1st, 2nd and 3rd week in September (different years) weather has be similar to what we have here but less rain!

The water park is very good, I think they charge 3euros for 2 hours which is good.

The site is also only around 30 minutes from Amsterdam and Rotterdam and Scheveningen (that may well be spelt wrong) as a gorgeous beach!

Yes fingers crossed, that is my plan we are going to try for Italy so lets hope it works. Good luck.

Was Park des Alicourts a busy site?

It was quite busy (we went end of June). It has a great lake in the middle of the site. If you want somewhere quiet its probably not the best place to go. I would say its very family oriented, though we went just as a couple but we were out and about every day.

were all hoping the last word is MARE as they have used the same codes as 2010 in the right order except they added 2 extra words in as in 2010 you only needed 8 code words xxx

Thank you very much for helping me out with the word, I will have my fingers crossed that you get what you want when the site opens.

Hopefully I can find something for Easter holidays or half term in May as long as its in school holidays and not more than 3/4 hours drive away that will suit me fine. Any further and its too far for me to drive nowadays......
Thanks again for help with the last word:T
