  • same thing happened to me with air france, my e ticket came through as Mr instead of Mrs,
when i phoned them they charged me £30(this was in 2006),
they were really rude and unhelpful which put me off more than the £30 to be honest.
All you can do is vote with your feet and never use them again,I would never use air france again no matter how desperate i was.

    Meadows, there's also

    "Amendment Fees
3.2.1 Amendments to correct misspellings will be free of charge within 14 days of booking if there are more than 35 days until your departure date. If there are 35 days or less to your departure date, you must correct misspellings within 2 days of booking to avoid being charged an amendment fee."

Yes hence the etc. and the link to save typing it all out, used the dates as OP stated - late dates for changes rather than quote all fees which could be found via the link to the site T&C's.

So presumably you'd be happy with no amendment fees ever but higher flight prices for everyone, including those who check forms before they submit them?

It is entirely and wholly [STRIKE]un[/STRIKE]reasonable for Thomson Airways to charge you £50 for a name correction.

You were the one who didn't check properly, so now you face the consequences. That's how the world works, if you make a mistake, you'll pay to correct it, in whatever form, this time it's money.

Have you heard of 'unfair contract terms', 'onerous clauses' and 'unreasonableness' ?

Can businesses just 'make up' terms and conditions with no regard to English Law?
