hi I have just been charged £50 because my name was spelt wrong on my e tickets..we go next month...the point is they are not sent out in the post but on-line to change 1 letter is quite maddening , but what really annoyed me more was the attitude of the costumer service on the phone, I said it was Mr and Mrs Harris not Mr Harris and Mrs Harrus her attitude was ......well we are not psychic ........she was so rude to me, when I asked her what her name was she told me her first name wouldnt tell me her last also she said if it was her she would of questened it....where do I go from here thanks

Perhaps start checking for typos before you hit send?

Normally to change just one letter it is free of charge.0

I would be fuming with myself as well, take more time to check what you input the next time.
That way you won't give the "costumer" service advisor the opportunity to make you look a fool.0 -
What airline was it? I made a typo on a booking with Easyjet but they changed it free of charge when I rang them up. I think airlines are often happier to do this free if you ring them within 24 hours. If, as I suspect, it's Ryanair, then you really shouldn't be surprised, Michael has to maintain his lifestyle somehow, and he can't do it through cheap fares.0

Your name hasn't changed though, so ask for a refund of the charge.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Not being smart here, but OP says charged because name was spelt wrong on tickets.
But input is output.
No more wine when booking on budget airlines now!
They have little mercy, and we all know the rules.0 -
it was Thomson airways0

Did you not check spellings before continuing to next page (if booking done on line) and then check all details when the booking was confirmed?
If you didn't your error! (costly mistake and one you won't make again).
If you did and subsequently they have made the typo then their error and if you have printed proof of correct details then it is up to them to rectify the error.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
It is entirely and wholly unreasonable for Thomson Airways to charge you £50 for a name correction.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
