If his nett is 3000 a mth.....that = just under 700 a week, when put into CSA calcuator would give you weekly maintenance of approx 105...x 52 divide by 12 = approx 455 a mth.0

Ok I'm finally ready to go to csa. I believe it has all changed? What details will they want from me apart from ex address etc. Will they want my finances or just account number? I just feel sick all the time to have to go to csa. Thanks so much to those of u who have replied0

Sounds like he's in for a shock when he's told exactly how much he has to pay.
I'm actually against the percentage of earnings calculation. Surely it would make more sense for there to be a flat rate. It costs £x to look after a child. Divide it by 2 and that's how much is owed.0 -

They'll ask you for as much info on your ex as you can provide, name, address, date of birth, national insurance number if you have it. They'll also ask where he works, how long he's worked there for and roughly how much he's earning, if you know. They'll ask if be has your child/children overnight at all, and if he is paying you any money directly.
Re:your finances - all they'll ask for is your bank account/sort code to make any payments to you.
Do you know if be is likely to have any other open cases? If not, the case will begin on the day they contact him. This should be within about a fortnight of you phoning them to open a case.0
