Why on earth would you think this comment is a remotely good idea? Go take your dog hating remarks elsewhere, you won't get much agreement with you on this board, people are pretty fierce about their pets and you treading in dog poo is in no way comparable to a living creature getting hurt.

Hooe Logan is okay OP, he's a complete sweetie!
treading in dog poo is no big deal? Oh my god! Tell that to the little girl in the picture who looks like she's been punched in the face. It's caused by someone's little doggie wog gie

    I completely agree.

A few years back I slipped on some black ice and fell onto a broken bottle, narrowly missing an artery.

Idiots and their dog poop all over paths, grass, parks.

Shouldn't tar everyone with the same brush, but after numerous incidents over the years where I've thrown shoes out because it made me puke to clean them, I'm right out of sympathy to dog owners.

So both idiots and the dogs they own defecate all over the place where you come from? No wonder you're annoyed. Dog poo is one thing but when added with human feces too... dear me. I'd be writing to my MP about that.
  • Zoom, you've obviosuly got sick of trolling DT then?

Every dog owner I know is responsible, and part of that involves cleaning up after their pet. Don't tar the many with the brush of a few.

And if you're going to post inconsequential pictures, at least link to the story.

Some people are just beyond stupid. I saw a group of teens smashing their glass bottles against the concrete at Aberavon beach. They were mostly bare-foot and one then happened to stand on the glass and end up with quite severe bleeding!

There is a little bit along the top line of the forum, which says NEW POSTS and it lists topics just posted on. Which is how I came across this one, so nothing to do with trolling.

I can, quite frankly tar as many as I want, because dog poop on the school run can be as many as 6 or 7 lots. We have to walk along scanning the paths. So please don't tell me it's few and far between.

Obviously doggies with sore paws isn't pleasant, neither is a toddler's shoe full of dog !!!!.

I agree, what a stupid thing to do. But the one with the bleeding foot won't be so quick to do it again will they? It will have taught them a lesson they won't forget in a hurry.

beaches can be very precarious to walk along, there's broken bottles, dog poo, washed in sewage etc.

    You're a bit of a plank aren't you?

No worries, it takes all sorts I guess. If you're being 'all you can be' then it's not your fault you're unable to be relevant.

Of course if you're being provocative for the sake of it, then forgive us if we just laugh at you. :rotfl:

OP, SIL's dog had the same just before Xmas. tendons cut and op needed to repair. All because some halfwit didn't have the self worth to be a decent human being and put their bottle in the bin.

    Btw, very fetching bandage. :D

Living closely to 3 pubs makes it a nightmare over the holidays for smashed glasses and bottles - I hope your gorgeous pup heals quickly without any need for more treatment.

The dog mess issue is another problem locally. Despite having free biodegradable bags in dispensers dotted around the village, free to dog walkers, there are still owners who let their dogs mess and don't clean it up. Then there are the ones who think taking as many bags as they can is their right, rather than 1 or 2 and leaving some for other residents. Its always the minority spoiling it for the majority...

Okay don't give my pup any sympathy but next time it could be you or your child if you have any.
