Idiots and their smashed bottles

My poor puppy has cut his paw open because of them :(

On New Years day. Had to take him to another emergencey vet this morning as the bleeding wouldn't stop.

If I ever see any them at it I will offer to smash the bottles for them... right over their thick heads !

It's younger ones drinking in the park now I am NOT claiming to be an angel, I used to do it too, I always put my bottle or whatever in the bin though, there are bins there !!

Logan himself is okay but there was a lot of blood and it was on and off during the night so wasn't willing to wait another day til our own vet re opens incase he got really ill.

He was so happy bounding about playing on New Years day and then he must have landed on the glass :( Hopefully no more injuries for a while, will update how he gets on with our own vets tomorrow.

Did have a good result money wise though, the Out of Hours is in Glasgow and they charge £120 consultation fee then treatment on top, I phoned about and found a vet open nearer to home that agreed to see him, they said they take £27 'non patient fee'. Off we went, they were REALLY nice and bandaged him up, prescribed painkillers, antinflammatries and antibiotics. Total cost - £38.

Will need to pay at our own vets as they did say stitches may be needed depending on how it bonds overnight but the total cost will still be less than the£120+ at out of hours... don't get me wrong had it been life or death I would not have hesitated to take him there.

My worry is shredded beer cans on our park.

People throw them in the long grass and then the lawn mowers chop them up.

Hope Logan is OK, he does look very proud of his tractor bandage though :)

Tyson managed to get his expensive vet visit in on New Years Eve, he was obviously trying to get my 2013 budget off to a good start!

Idiots. I'd like to give them a few broken bottle cuts, see how they like it.

Oh poor Logan. I hope he is being a good boy and not chewing his bandage off, not like my puppy did, Give him a big cuddle from me.
  • Idiots and their dog poop all over paths, grass, parks.

Shouldn't tar everyone with the same brush, but after numerous incidents over the years where I've thrown shoes out because it made me puke to clean them, I'm right out of sympathy to dog owners.

Why on earth would you think this comment is a remotely good idea? Go take your dog hating remarks elsewhere, you won't get much agreement with you on this board, people are pretty fierce about their pets and you treading in dog poo is in no way comparable to a living creature getting hurt.

Hooe Logan is okay OP, he's a complete sweetie!
