    Hi all

Echo, I think you are selling yourself short. It's not that easy for just anyone to do an outline then make the subect look right. I've done courses on book illustrating and to be honest I found that some of them killed my creativity and gave me 'artists block'. I think you ought to keep doing what you are doing for the time being.

Hi everyone, you must all be busy having clear outs your very quiet lol

I been making cards, just catching up on the rest of my birthday ones before moving onto Xmas ones :-) which are my favourite ones

I did have a bit of a clear out, could do with more, got some clothes and put them on fleabay , a lot of stores having sales though. DD & DS are 21 this year and decided to take them away on hols. Which means clothing DD from top to toe for 2 weeks . So I made a start , have made a whack of jewellery. And am currently searching for new underwear for her.

As you know I hate selling on fleabay, but I love buying

Is it me or has vista become expensive on postage. My orders used to average £5-6 for 4 items. Seems to come in about £8 lately

    Morning all,
Just thought I would pop in and say hi. Managed to get 4 boxes of chocolate thins 2 orange 2 mint from Aldi yesterday 49p each. Today I'm going to sort out a designated area for Christmas pressies. I'm also going to tell dh I want a Christmas stocking this year with some nice bits and bobs in. We never normally buy each other pressies but £10 limit won't break the bank and I want one!
Glorious day may have to dig out my summer clothes :D

    Hi everyone

Susan, I had hospital this week so that's why I didnt come on, had to have a camera thingy in an awkward place so was a bit out of sorts before hand what with the diet and the stuff you take but results were fine and dont have to go back so good.

I really need to knuckle down soon and get some presents made, late for me, I am usually half way through them by now. Been hard though with the cold weather and no heating in my room, then OH went on nights, and the wedding outfit to make, will be nice to get back into the sewing again proper.

At last Miss Hoodie has choosen her winners for the £2 challenge - she wanted to say thank you to everyone for taking part and you all deserve a prize.

    Our 2 winners

Echo-Delta - for the ear-plugs - Miss Hoodie fell about laughing (she did say do they work as she reckons I snore when we share a room on holiday!!)

Mrs MoneyPenny - for the bird seed idea - we both thought that was lovely.

-The Prize - Little present that Miss Hoodie choose when we were in Tunisia, so if you 2 ladies don' t mind sending me a pm with your address then I can get them posted on Tuesday (fit through normal letterbox), once there safely posted, I delete your address, (you wont get a stalker). xxx

A massive thank you to everyone for taking part and being there for us both,

We've had a quiet week, think really been catching up with everything, - all washing done, - now to be put away, Miss Hoodies new bedroom furniture came - so were waiting for grandad hoodie to put up.

Argos bargain - £50 for wardrobe or £60 for wardrobe, chest draws and bedside cabnet).

Now nanny Hoodie has fallen for the same type of furniture, - but shes gone for the 3 door version - we got a brilliant deal.
the 3 set - wardrobe, chesterdraws and bedside unit was on offer saved £20, so she decided that she needs 3 sets of wardrobes - hasn't measured up!! - but there was an offer spend over £400 and get £100 off - in theory shes got 3 sets of the units for the price of 2........... Grandad Hoodie going to be busy, as she has suggested that he paint the bedroom as well....

Need a kick up the rear to get back on track........ post hol blues missing the sun! xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    Morning all,

Just popping in to show you my latest gift underway. Crocheting this for my mum and dad, I am determined everything is going to be home made or very very cheap

Hope you like it. I've done four already and it's a miracle but I can do a square without watching you tube:j

Rufus- sorry you had a problem that needed hospital but its good that it sorted. Are you enjoying f1 ?

Mum2one - cracking bargain those. If I had some spare £££s I'd get them for DD but bit skint at moment . Need all the pennies for DD for a new wardrobe of a different sort lol.

Had two sales on fleabay so that's great. Listed some more only starting them at 99p but can't believe how expensive postage is....

Well done echo and money penny on the £2 challenge

Julie do you have the link you followed on eBay, I'd like to make one of those blankets . But great for a pressie if I started now might do it by Christmas next year or maybe the year after
