Hi folks, I discovered this thread by accident today, funny what you discover on MSE despite being around for a while.
Anyway I digress, I noticed your £2 challenge and though I'd let you know in Morrison's the other day, the gift sets which were on offer around Valentines Day for between £2 and £5 were all reduced to £1.48 with a maximum of 3 of each item per person. I got 3 sock sets, 3 mens dove sets and 3 So? sets with the lip balm (not all for me).
There was:-
Bayliss and Harding 3 minis and some kind of bath rose on a string (didn't like this can you tell). This was in a bigger box than the others despite being mini's.
Bayliss and Harding cream bed sox and foot cream - would be a lovely gift with a bottle of nail polish (obviously glitched - or what about that Sally Hansen stuff?)
Bayliss and Harding shower gel and moisturiser (not minis)
Impluse minis x 3
So? Kiss me set with perfume, body lotion and lip balm (great as a cheap birthday / Christmas / to hell with it present for teenagers)
So? 3 pack of perfumes 15ml sort of rock chick look (can't for the life of me remember the name).
Addidas ice dive shower gel and spray deodorant (blue)
Dove mens travel set - 2 different mini shower gels and roll on deodrant.
Lynx mini's in a tin (none in stock but I got them when they were £2 so possibly on offer too.)
Most would also make great stocking fillers if you're starting early.0 -

Welcome to March!
I got home tonight to a letter from a friend of ours whom we haven't seen since last year, and we have been invited to a 40th birthday party next weekend. So, I need to buy a card (or make, but I don't have a lot of inspiration or time at the moment) and possibly a little gift for next weekend. Argh!
On the plus side, I found a lovely Mother's Day card in Morries this morning before work, so I bought it. That's one part sorted, at least.
Tried to make the most of Boots' points this lunchtime by seeing what offers the card machines had for me. Unfortunately, my card got stuck, they had to reboot the machine and that ate up much of my lunch hour. I ended up just buying what I needed to and that was it! On the plus side, I did get given a coupon for £5 off No,7 Skincare or selected fragrances valid until 30th March - I may well do thatMr KB loves the No.7 Men's shaving gel! At £7.25 it is a bit expensive for shaving gel, but with £5 off, it's a lot more doable.
Hope everyone is OK.

Whitesatin - I too love the glossy house mags although am trying to limit myself. Also they tend to make me a bit dissatisfied with what I've got and start moving things around and looking at paint and furniture. It's very easy for me to be a bit OCD about changing things in the house.
Thanks for the ideas Mum2One - I'd willingly pay £8 to see my mum with permed eyelashesbet she wouldn't go for it though! Well done on paying for the holiday.
Mrs Moneypenny your MIL sounds very similar - shame we can't get them together!
Cheekyweegit - those Morrisons' bargains sound good. Wish we had one nearer. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
We are a bit more sorted 2ngt - the bag from loft - allocated about half of them as presents, dads had some toilettires and few bits ready for carboots.
Birthdays - swop around - but sorted
Mothers Day/Fathers Day - Done
Xmas - 4 people to get full presents, 3 - half done
Brought a bday prezzie for Miss Hoodie - set of binocolars was £99.99, reduced to £29.99. They look gorgeous (argos clearance!!). Were raiding Tesco vouchers for next yrs holiday - Miss Hoodie fancies Goa - she has my itchy feet!!
Weekend plans - going to bag up bday/xmas prezzies to make sure not doubled up anywhere! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I think I'm going to have to break into my Nectar points as the iron has just packed up! It is ten years or more old, and has started leaking water through the plate instead of steaming. Not a good start to the month! I don't have the budget for it anywhere else, so it'll have to be the loyalty points that take this one, then back to the drawing board!

Kitchenbunny- I just had to buy a new iron as mine died on Friday (after 15yrs) and there are some great half price offers on at argos at the moment. Hope you'll find one0

kitchenbunny - always a sods laws moment, hope u get sorted, def sounds like it lasted well. Hopefully won't make too much of a dent in the nectar points. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

I've been super organised, spent 6 1/2hrs sorting out the prezzie pile - gd news only got 1 present going to 2 people - mens toilettry set - so thats sorted.
Bad news - How I don't know but I managed to have one Gok wan set and a Santuary Spa set left over - guess i'll just have to have them....
Even managed to put together a "21 box" for friends daughters, with everything we had, and got 50th as well - put 28/50 things by.
Cards are next to be sorted, and Miss Hoodies pottery, one batch left to decorate, another to go in the oven - go in together. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
