Q2 is doing my nut in..
2 What links the Sun and Mars, The Avengers (2012), and the US in 1971?

So we are looking for a link for all 3..
I've searched for US history 1971 and come across the launch of Mariner 9, the launch of Apollo 15 and there was a skyjacking done by Dan Cooper. BUT I can't see any link to the Avengers or Sun & Mars.

We are NOT looking for a link between the Sun and Mars.. It should really have been written Sun & Mars..

Now as a very long shot....Jeremy Renner was born in 1971 in the US.. does he have SUn & Mars in his horoscope??
Thanks to those that post the comps!!
    :j:beer:
  • For Q3 I also found a link to the color red: red planet (mars), giant red (sun), SCARLETT Johansson, but US in 1971? Also, the Avengers (2012) is or has been shown on the International Space Station, around earth's orbit, so could it all be about orbits?

Would people like me to populate a list that's all in one place that I can update, so that it will be easier to enter? The thread is a bit all over the place.

I have to nip out now but I can try & get it done before 8pm? :)
    :) xx JoJo xx :)

    Hi,

    I dont have the complete answer but;

Veronica Mars is in the Avengers
Joss Whedon (American) the writer and director of The Avengers.

In 1971 there was a Theatre Production of the Avengers
    http://declassified.theavengers.tv/stage_main.htm

I'm still looking but some of this might "spring an idea" with someone.

There is a video called Bring Back the Sun - Veronica Mars is linked to this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RoQ-15HkAYc

Hi - I was thinking about qu 2 and reading through suggestions. I was wondering about the eclipse suggestion by joshmuffin as sun and moon does make me think of things like that. There was a total eclipse in feb 1971 visible from the US http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/February_1971_lunar_eclipse

I haven't seen the Avengers - but was wondering if there was anything about an eclipse in the plot.
