I dont think o2 can apply a credit limit to an account. You could see if there are possibly more expensive tariffs she could upgrade too to give her more inclusive minutes and texts a month, as this may help lower the monthly bill overall.0

can u block monthly contract once it is up each month ie stop getting charged vast amounts of money. daughter just thinks she should just keep using it o2 say nothing can be done. she pays for it herself but i see how much she uses driving me nutts
cheers
I'm afraid not, the only contract type is T-Mobile flex t that gives you a limit to spend, the only option you have is possibly upgrade her inclusive minutes and texts to try and reduce the bills.0 -
tried that £35 monthly just keeps going, 16yr old with money to waste [i think not]0

Flex t , does not give you a limit, I think its U-Fix0

There are more expensive tariffs than £35 a month, I am sure o2 would let you migrate onto one of them, was it a High street or Online tariff?0

I do remember reading something bout this, think it can be done. Normally done to combat fraudulent behaviour. But it can be take a day or two to flag up. Worth calling n asking I guessSLC: £13000+

they should let her go up a tariff to either Texter Online 50, that will give her 1000 minutes and 1000 texts for £50 a month, or or Talker Online 50 1400 minutes, 200 texts.0

£35 monthly 1000 texts+600mins bolt ons £30 for a 1000 texts , told to keep a check on online billing doesnt bother £200 last month £200 this month she pays it, nothing else take phone from her no wonder phone companies make money just like putting sweets at tills for children to scream for0
