So, my aims for May were:
    • 20 NSDs
    • £350 OP
    • £400 into savings
    • 6lb weight loss
On reflection, in May I have:
    • managed to gain 18 NSDs
    • OP'd the mortgage by £346.93 - £3.07 under aim
    • put £551.61 into savings - £151.61 over aim :)
    • lost 6lbs :j :j
So, in terms of goals, I'm pretty happy with that! :) I'm not too bothered about not meeting my NSD aim for the month; unexpected vets bills stopped that but an absolute necessary expense at the time.

The fact that I missed the OP target by £3 doesn't really bother me either - we're going to aim for £350 each month but if we don't manage that, then so be it.

Very pleased with the savings amount this month :D just shows what we can do when we try! Again, because of unexpected vets bills and a funeral cost, it should have been slightly higher but those were both necessary costs and I don't begrudge that at all. The fact that it's so much over target makes me think I need to set harder aims for next month ;)

Alos, definitely back on the weight loss wagon! 6lbs is awesome :D I haven't been so good over half term :o but even so, very pleased. I've decided it's easier to be good when I'm not at home!

    Aims for June:
    • 18 NSDs
    • £350 OP
    • £600 into savings
    • 5lb weight loss
Slightly lower target for NSDs as we've got more things planned during the month which may mean spending on various days. I'm hoping not, but playing it safe there. Again, the standard £350 OP is an aim, but won't worry if we don't reach that. The interest on our mortgage is just under £300 a month now, so as long as we pay that off every month I won't worry. As you can see, I've upped by savings target, from £400 a month to £600 - eek! but, with our new being careful budget, we should reach that no problem. Last but not least, a 5lb weight loss this month will be tricky but not impossible; just need to keep focused on that.

Here's to June being great!

Great totals for May and a very positive outlook for June :T

Don't forget to have fun! We've been scrimping and saving for the last few months when we realised our holiday would be so expensive, but I know we couldn't sustain it.

I left a comment on your blog :)
