    It's finally the weekend :j :j

Not much planned over the weekend; we've got DH's parents coming for tea on Saturday but that's about it :) I love weekends where there's not much on and I can relax a bit. I think that if the weather's okay, I'll do some gardening and pottering around, but that's it.

I'm still continuing to enjoy blogging - I've posted a blog today about saving for a house deposit if anyone fancies a read :)

Ooh, and I've managed a whole (working) week of NSDs :D

    I love weekends :)

I'm going to bake some scones in a bit to have with some home grown strawberries and clotted cream :) will be a nice Sunday treat! I was going to do some gardening but it's miserable here and cold so I think it'll be a film afternoon with the DH instead :)

I've posted a new blog post on things I've enjoyed doing this week - I'm really trying to be more positive in my life and do things that benefit me, rather than doing things for other people all the time who never appreciate it :o that includes reading and educating myself more; spending more time on my hobbies and enjoying the simple things in life.

    Happy Sunday everyone :)

I don't know what's going on at the moment but each day seems to be passing so slowly :wall: :wall:

I've written a new blog post on meal planning and how it helps us keep costs down - I know some people don't agree with it but it really is a crucial part to our finances :) feel free to check it out!

I've had a NSD today even though I was very tempted by the chips in the canteen today - they're on 70p and you get a massive portion, but I was good and had my fruit and yogurt :) I'm still trying to lose weight before our holiday and I'm running out of time...

Has anyone else seen the new programme about tigers? I want one please.

    Happy Tuesday everyone :)

Thank goodness it's Friday tomorrow, that's all I can say!

Didn't get back til 8pm tonight as it's been parents evening, so am shattered. It went really well but it's such an intense 3 hours. Luckily all nice students came tonight so didn't have to have any awkward conversations...!

So, as I've been nowhere it's been another NSD :) doing really well with these this month so far. However, this weekend and next week are quite busy so can't relax on that front just yet - otherwise I might suddenly go mad spending! I doubt it though ;)

Right, is it bad that I want to go to bed? Not bothered about the football... :o

Poor you with parents evening - I hate it with a passion. It is so exhausting. I've got it to look forward too...after I write their reports

Well done with the NSDs! I'm doing OK now because I spent too much at the beginning of the month :o

Get yourself an early night :) I wouldn't know anything about the football if it wasn't for the people at work!

Well done with all the NSDs, although shame about the long evening.

Nowt wrong with bedding down early ... Mr. Hbbb is downstairs listening to footie on the wireless and I'm upstairs with hot water bottle and my knitting ... I swear we could be a couple from the 1950s!

Hope tomorrow is gentle with you x
