Hi SF
i am looking forward to hearing your goals
Bah! to the fence - is it something you can claim on your insurance at all? xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
So, here's a brief roundup of 2013 and my aims for 2014
2013:- We started with a mortgage of £123,000 at the beginning of the year. At the year end, our mortgage stands at £112,940
this means a reduction of £10,060 which is amazing :j :j
- I met my target of £7,000 OP in 2013 - I managed £7,000.97
- I have managed to meet my target of 200 NSDs for the year.
- I have managed to save £5,217.72 as well, which is a mixture of the Emergency Fund and a start towards America
- According to the spreadsheet, we have a surplus at the end of the year, but DH hasn't added his bits onto it yet - I suspect it's rather close this year
Financial:- Our OP target is £4,200
- Our savings target is £6,000 which will go towards our America fund and a new bathroom (it needs gutting and totally re-doing!)
- Our NSD target is 220
- Bake one loaf of bread a month - I enjoy this but I haven't baking in ages.
- Make more meals from scratch - again, fallen a bit into a habit of freezer stuff
- Get to a BMI of 22 so that body is baby ready
The financial aims should be do-able, so long as we keep a close eye on our outgoings and misc. spending. Again, the forecast spreadsheet shows a surplus at the end of the year, but that will only happen if we don't go mad spendingthe savings one is important - we won't be able to go on our holibobs if we don't save! And, our bathroom is in desperate need of gutting and re-doing, but it'll cost a bit. We're hoping to have that done by the end of the year, but we shall see.
Here's to 2014  :beer:Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

SMART looking targets for 2014, but the bread one is a bit soft (so to speak
)
Your mortgage reduction last year was fantastic, you should be proud of what you have achieved.
Curious - has DH adopted NSDs as well? Mrs E wouldn't even know what that acronym stands for (although I suspect that she has 3-4 a week without knowing it!)0 -
