Sorry, it appears I'm rubbish at keeping a diary :o although, the garden is a monster so it is taking a lot of doing! As it's our first proper garden, it's a "learn as you go" type thingy, so it's probably taking longer than it should do.

So, I've OP'd £500 this month, which is pretty good going :) Not really added anything to the emergency fund this month though, just a few pennies. Hmm.

I've booked my car into we buy any car next week, as it's falling apart and we don't want to spend lots of money trying to get it all fixed when it's not worth much. I think it'll cost more to fix than the car is worth! So, if they don't offer us a ridiculously low amount, then we'll sell it and be down to one car. Anything we can get for it will go into the emergency fund and then I can claim back on the insurance so that'll be a few more pennies in the pot. I think it'll be strange only having one car, but it'll be good financially in the long run.

In other news, I'm going to Cyprus in less than 2 weeks! A bit of a last minute, spur of the moment thing. My parents were going anyway, and they said they had a spare room where there were staying so did I want to join them for a week? Um, yes! :o so just going for a week, which will be lovely.

One more thing that's slightly stressing me out at the moment, is the fact that I'm a bridesmaid in 4 weeks time and the dress doesn't fit! :o    I'm going to have to not eat for the next four weeks I think :o it's my own fault, but arrrgh! Any suggestions ladies? :o

And, last of all, I love the school holidays :D

It needs about another inch of weight loss - can I do that in four weeks? :o I'm going to have to be very strict and drink lots and lots of water.

But, my wedding dress didn't fit four weeks before and I made it fit, I just need to do it again!

    So, food today has been:
b - slice of wholemeal toast with butter
l - scrambled eggs on toast, jaffa cake
d - roast veg with salmon

I'm going to try and not eat too much bread/carbs for the next four weeks too, as they can cause me to bloat.

DFW - don't think there's any chance of altering it unfortunately :(

beanie - I'll have a look on the slimming world site, thanks for the tip :)

I've lost another lb this week, was hoping for more but at least it's in the right direction!

Feeling all meh today, tired and ache-y. I hope I'm not coming down with anything, that would be really rubbish. I've not done much today, as I can't be bothered. I've pottered around the house, had a tidy, played the piano for a bit, and sat on the sofa quite a lot.

I'm currently in the process of making this: http://www.morrisons.co.uk/Food-and-Drink/Recipes/Index/S/Sausage-and-butter-bean-casserole/ for tea which smells divine  I'm having nothing on the side, but DH has got some crusty bread to dip. If it wasn't for the dress, I'd be dipping too! ;)

Not much else to report, for this weekend. The sun is shining here now, but we had lots of rain over night. Good really, as it means the plants don't need as much watering!

In other news, how is it the end of July already..?

Try to stay good on holiday. If the apartment has a pool use it every opportunity; swimming and your own aqua aerobics. Try to stay away from alcohol and ice cream and drink lots of water.
