Just a small OP of £10 today, which is better than nothing :) I've been a bit over optimistic with moving monies around, and we hardly have anything left in the current account :o

Good job I don't need to spend anything this week!

Another week over - woo! :)

We're going round to someone else's for tea tonight, where they always make amazing food :D and obviously, it means I don't have to cook either, bonus :D

This weekend we're not doing much really, pottering around. I'm going to pop into town briefly tomorrow and I need to do some gardening, but that's about it :)

    Thanks taxi :)

I've been into town this morning and spent:
    - £30 in Next on some shoes for a wedding we're going to in two weeks
    - £6.42 in M&S food hall on some goodies
    - £5.99 in Boots on some nail varnish for wedding, plus a couple of their shapers bars
    - £2.59 on a chicken nugget happy meal - nom :D

Not a bad morning :) I'm now sat having a cuppa and am going to try and finish the book I'm currently reading, as I can't wait to see what the ending is! :o

    You can't beat a good read :)

Thanks SF, you have inspired me to get off my lazy behind this afternoon and go to my local library. I need to be reminded of my pin so that I can order books through the online library catalogue.

I've been food shopping this evening and spent £42.50 on food stuff - slightly higher than normal but I've got things to fill up the freezer, so I'm hoping it'll even out over the next few weeks :)

I also filled up my car with petrol, so that's another £45 gone. I can't wait until we're down to one car, and then we won't spend so much on petrol!

Nothing much else to report :)

After saying that last week was a high grocery spend, this week we spent £52.97 :o but, in my defense, it did include some cat litter, cat food and toiletries, so not all food. Ahem.

We went out for tea last night, paid by someone else, to an Italian restaurant in town. It was the happy hour so starters were £2.50 and mains were £7 so really good value. I had deep fried calamari rings to start followed by spicy tomato mussels. Yum. I've somehow managed to lose a lb this week too? Mad, but I'll take it!

I get paid on Tuesday, so I'll update with OP and any emergency fund money changes.

In other news, where has the sun gone? It's black outside and chucking it down. I refuse to put the heating on, but I am wearing a big jumper and have got some candles lit. It feels like winter is here!

Another Monday gone - only 3 more now til the holidays!

Made a small OP of £40 today. Bit of a tidy up of the account before I get paid tomorrow. Better than nothing :)

Not much else to report. Today is a NSD and I'm now just sat watching the tennis with a cuppa :)
