What do you do with the leftovers? Do you eat them cold or warm them up?

Where Y7 smart?! The Headmaster at the school I did music assembly at today reckoned the children there were, I'm afraid I disagreed. :rotfl: Despite Music being prioritised, it seemed not that many were interested. Can't say the small group activities went particularly well either. For some reason the pupils don't seem to like me very much for about a term or so; Head of Music thinks I "take some getting used to". :rotfl: Not sure what that's meant to mean, to be honest. :(

Well done re. NSD and being shortlisted. That's quite amazing. :D

 Re. cutting your husband's hair. Does he cut yours?
I heat them up in a microwave at work at lunch time :) Year 7 always take a couple of weeks to settle in. And thanks :D

SF, have a brilliant time at the awards - check the route beforehand on the transport planners, and give yourself plenty of time, you'll be absolutely fine.

Great idea to do DH's haircuts, it really adds up. If your hair's long, either you or DH could cut it too, every so often :) I used to chop my own
I don't have plenty of time, that's the problem. Getting a train at 6am which gets in to London Kings X at 9:08am then need to find my way there... I can't bring myself to let DH cut my hair; it's long and I'm worried it'll all go wrong. I get it cut twice a year which doesn't cost too much and is one of my little luxuries :)

    September 7th, 2016.

Well, being a typical British person, I'm going to start by complaining about the weather! It has been far. too. hot. at work today. We were all melting and with the best will in the world, it's hard to keep focus when you are hot.

    NSD 6
for me this month, going well :) it won't be a nsd tomorrow though as I need to pop into town for a couple of things and I might take DS to soft play for a bit in the afternoon, or perhaps to the park if the weather is alright.

Transferred £3.45 into savings to tidy up the current account.

Nothing much else to report - happy hump day :)

Alex - you come over as quite logical, quite detached, and I suspect it may take teenagers a while to see what a good heart you have :kisses3:

Well, I suspect that Myers-Briggs test was right about me and I suppose those traits shape my approach to teaching.
