Right, so everything everyone posts on this topic has to be all nice and not negative at all.
The 5th birthday party thing was a bit of a cop out. It was not explained well at all. You have to understand the complete and utter frustration of the UK members on this one.
We get geared up for this big HUGE massive event and then sit around waiting for the codes to eventually start trickling through (but only once the USA users wake up and start helping) ..
The full puzzle gets revealed right at start ...
Then it went and flipping crashed half way through.
And then the draw winners getting announced 4 usa 1 uk, and the final code was out about 3am (uk time)
That party thing could have been done so much better.
MSE users tell it how it really is. If other people can't cope, that's their problem. This is real life with real accurate views.
i agree with that to degree, as i have already said i am quite gobby. however i guess i should have exercised a little restraint in expressing my irritation at the people who *just did not get it* and the *i don't care if i get my identity stolen, how many swagbucks will i get* ones. i got frustrated.
i don't think anyone should be put of posting anywhere. i think it slightly oversensitive to flounce over a throwaway comment on here though....Originally Posted by easylife73:

A handful of people have a bit of a moan about Swagbucks.
Swagbucks have a bit of a moan about a handful of people.
Seems quite fair to me.
Personally, on the whole, I quite enjoyed the Birthday Blowout as I collected a shed load of points. Fair enough, it was as clear as mud on how to do this and the site kept crashing. I can put up with that. I'm a big boy now.
If people choose to be offended over a bit of criticism that was for their benefit, then that is their problem, as far as I am concerned. Don't come onto the internet expecting a free-speech platform to be all sweetness and light.
Nick - if your gripe is mainly about FB, then sort it out on FB.

Anyone else had it?
yes for the second time in a month :rotfl::j:j:j:j0 -
tyrolean dancer, i appreciate that there were things about the party that weren't perfect. the site kept crashing, for one, and next time we will need extra tech staff. but unless we did separate promotions for each country it was inevitable that the 24 hour period would favour the US and that the later codes would be early in our morning. to compensate we tried to give away lots of codes before USA woke up and give SBs away through games too. considering UK is less than 5 per cent of traffic, i think it was okay and the fact a brit won one of the 5 $1000 dollar prizes was good. that was entirely random by the way but i am so pleased it happened. but it COULD have been better explained, fair point, and for that i apologise.
I can be a bit grumpy when tired Nick :rotfl:overall it wasn't a bad day, I did really well out of it. Thank you for all your hard work especially on the FB page
One more question can my hubby and I both have accounts?
I would hate to see all my hard work go down the pan if multiple accounts are not allowed:eek::j:j:j:j0 -
