Since last Friday I'm happy to say I've paid £153.50 off my Halifax card. Huge thanks to Betty Crumble for encouraging me by running this challenge.

Hope you are all well and keeping positive.

Plmbl how is £4.92 lean? if it was made to dress up as a £2 coin it would be obese lol

Fedupandskint, wow bet you cant wait to close that sucker down and what a way to do it, by money owed to you. Sooo glad you chose to pay it off, thats dedication well done.

Sunaddict, thats a mighty fine amount of debt slaying right there, brilliant.

Purplegrape, you dont need a kick up the bum you need a full stop, there you go, put that at the end of yesterday and start afresh today. Go do a budget and work out where you need the help. You could always pop it up here and we can support you. Go for it, you can do it.

Kt, good stuff keep chipping away at it you'll get there.

  • Cheers Betty, it was rather a long-winded whine I posted! Good idea on the budget. I do have one, but I've been playing with it a bit too much.

    Awesome work everyone!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend! If the weather isn't bad I'm volunteering to grape pick at our local vineyard. They feed you as a thanks (and maybe some wine too), which will save some more cash. :)
