Hi all, just wondering, what is the best time to have a baby with having the best outcome for the child academically? So, the child is not too young or too old for his class/ peers? Thanks

if this is a serious question, you're going to get a lot of generalisations
. It also depends where you live, as the intake year is different depending on which country you intend bringing your child up in.
I honestly don't think it matters in which month your child is born.0 -
There is a book called Bounce which says that the oldest children in an class are generally more successful. So a child with a September birthday MAY achieve better academic results - they will turn 5 almost as soon as they start reception class at school.
However...can you really control these things? What if the child is premature? Or born with special needs?0 -
It makes very little difference, long-term. I'd say think more about whether you want to be carrying through the summer or the winter
Mum swore her winter pregnancies were easier as it wasn't so hot and uncomfortable, lol. 0 -

very good point - i was pregnant from July to April, and that was just about perfect, no mega-hot weather to contend with with a big bump!0 -
It's not necessarily that easy to conceive or carry a child to term you know!Updating soon...0

I'd say Feb/March time too. The only drawback at that time of year is the weather.Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game0 -

If you are serious ....
... I believe there are far more important criteria to consider before conception - even from an academic ability point of view, genetics do have a little role to play
