Really messed up...wrong month booking with Ryanair

The point is if someone uses a travel agent and they can be shown to have booked the wrong date you would expect the travel agent to stand the cost of putting it right as they should have checked what they were doing. So if someone books a flight/hotel direct and they can be shown to have booked the wrong date they have to stand the cost as they should have checked what they were doing.
The supplier may take pity on them or they may be able to pay a change fee if available but at the end of the day it is still they who are at fault.0

I typed in my partner's abbreviated name last year when booking Ryanair flights, realised almost straight away and rang them. They altered the name without charging me. You may as well call them and ask, you've nothing to lose anyway...0

They don't offer email support. As others have said, phone is the only option. I fear you may well have left it too late by now since these sorts of things usually corrected free-of-charge only if they are reported immediately after making the mistake. Still, worth a shot.0

I did try straight away, but because I booked over Christmas, the call center was closed.
I also emailed every address and used their online contact form (They do have a form for email / contact support from their site).
I think this is a lost cause, I already spent over £20 credit on my mobile waiting in queue for their call centre to answer (It is a republic of Ireland number) and haven't got through to anyone.
I have got an email linking to a page that doesn't work for contact information.
I really just can't afford to book again, this is just for a few days and we were going to stay with a friend there
I know it is 100% my fault for not checking the flight date but I really didn't notice it had changed the month because I opened another window to check the prices for March, it still showed the same day (25th) but the month was changed 0 0

Presumably you could keep the outward flight and if a cheap option pops up for the return leg book that seperately ?
I think in your shoes I'd write rather than email at this point and probably not spend anymore money on calls. It's a tough lesson to learn but with Ryanair it's check, double check and triple check. I'm an ex travel agent and I still sweat when booking Ryanair as I know they take no prisoners so I do sympathize.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Which number are you trying to call?
Their UK customer service number is 0871 246 0000 - use an indirect call provider rather than calling direct from your mobile to reduce the cost. ( http://www.ryanair.com/en/questions/contacting-customer-service )
Several years ago it was possible to call them on an Irish number, which was very cheap if you used an indirect call provider, but that stopped working some time ago. There might be a new Irish number though - I haven't had to call them for 2 or 3 years now.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

Sorry, but I don't know what an indirect call provider is, can you help with that please?
If I can call cheaper that would be great, spending so much just waiting in a queue to talk to them now.

By indirect call provider I'm talking about something like http://www.nonoh.net where you can buy call credit then dial an access number from your mobile (or use the MobileVoIP app if you have a smartphone) to get calls at cheaper rates.
However, for 0871 numbers they may not actually be cheaper than calling directly, so check first.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
