For gods sake stop moaning,if you didn't want to take them just say no.Now that you have them make the best of it and have a word with your sister tomorrow .Rather than spouting off on the forum to a bunch of strangers speak to her and make sure she knows that what she did was unacceptable.0

She usually takes them round to my younger sister, I'm generally seen as the last resort. Last time they were here, My sister told them to ignore my boyfriend!
I think (she hasn't said she will collect them) she expects me to drop them off tomorrow!
if i was you id phone her now and tell her to come home you have decided your not being taken for a ride AND HAVE DECIDED TO GO OUT like planed
or if you know she local then get your o/h or you to go get her and tell her that a man is replacable but her kids arnt and any woman that puts a man before her own kids makes me
you say she told kids to ignore your o/h i wuld never stand for this and next time look out the window and dnt answereR door or put coat on answer door and say we off to a massive party or off out on a planed night out and unles you want to rembersu me right now i would sugest rediculas amout like £8/900 she will so get the picture that your not there at her becken call she made the kids she shuld look after them
i have my own kids so understand that you need a breack and think that ok but to just do and say what your sis did id have made her take them with her tail between her legs :mad:0 -
Do you think she'll check her phone and just not answer it, or she won't even bother looking at it?
I have to agree you only have yourself to blame though - you let her walk out without the kids for goodness sake!
ETA: definitely take them home nice and early, all the same. You could even by them some party blowers on the way!0 -
I agree with the suggestion of dropping them off early (8am?), serves your sister right!
8am? That's a bit late. If they are anything like mine were they'll be up at 7. Give them a high glucose beakfast. (Hot porridge with lots of syrup is a good one on a winters day) Then get them back home for 7.30 just as the sugar rush is kicking in.
When you get asked why so early. Tell sis you have plans and drop in to the ocnversation that you've loaded them up with sugar.Near a tree by a river, there's a hole in the ground.
Where an old man of Aran goes around and around....0 -
I agree, It is partly my fault. It won't be happening again though.
Ended up a lovely evening but chinese was horrible so we ended up with a late night pizza.
As for my sister, She wouldn't be checking her phone, She will be too busy partying.0 -
Glad your night turned out OK. x0

Has the sister made an appearance yet OP?
Glad you managed to have a semi good night0 -
I went round to hers this morning, to drop my neices off (at 8am! as they were up) and she was still in bed and the cheeky mare said "Oh I was expecting you to have them for a day, as we were planning on keeping the party going today" I said "I had plans last night, I have plans today. Oh we had to feed them and we lost a table at our favourite resturant so £200 should cover last night. Last night can never happen again, You clearly have no regard for anyone but yourself"
She slammed the door in my face. I was half expecting some swears too, but apparently I'm just a lady dog.0
