Size does matter. The TV we have now is a 52 or 55 " sony which we acquired used for a bargain price. The original impact of its size has somewhat waned and i now wouldnt want anything smaller...err...ohhhh...Matron !Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

See I wouldn't want anything bigger than a 32". Maybe cos I have quite a small room and don't want the TV dominating it. I've been in houses where people have great big tellies and it just seems to swamp the room. Maybe I feel like that cos I don't watch a lot of telly though? Still think the best thing you can do is go and have a look at some of them4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

I seem to recall a Samsung 43" Plasma being £318 on eBay from ebuyer, but was on Amazon for £299. If you were not to bother about it being manufacturer refurbished, you could get it for £250.
The only downside to this tv, was that its on Full HD (its 768? pixels). We've never noticed, as we dont watch that many HD channels/movies.
I think £400 will see you pick up a 50"..0 -

Och don't get me wrong, maybe if I watched more telly or movies I might be tempted, fair play to you for having what you want
I'm sat here tonight and the telly's on, but it's just on for the sake of some background noise lol
