Another busy work day yesterday, and my first goodbyes to a team I won't see again! Then when I got home my contract for my new job was waiting! It's all happening now!
Am having another go at avoiding carbs in the evening, can't manage to a full no carbs, I like them too much! Have done OK so far but finding it expensive as I've been buying things like prawns so need to look for some cheaper protein options! 2lbs off so far this week though, and I definately feel less bloated so going to try to stick to it for the next few weeks.
Need to run or go to the gym tonight so aiming for a more sensible finish time - I need to remind myself that I'm leaving, and I can only do so much!
And need to start tackling the to do list to!Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Tackled quite a lot on the personal to do list yesterday but the work one is getting out of hand! Didn't get to the gym again but managed to stay on track with food though
Here goes - head down and plough through!Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -

Quoting yesteday's post as today's is pretty much the same! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: But the eating wasn't good - the leaving pressie chocolates got started and that was the slippery slope!
Two weeks to go here, which I have to manage better - I am leaving after all! I want to focus during the next two weeks on getting myself ready for my new job! Getting all my personal admin up-to-date, sorting my wardrobe, losing a couple of pounds and getting my exercise back on track. I also need to start planning my holiday stuff as that's only 4 weeks away! :j
Plans for tomorrow are making a start on the above plus doing some cup cakes as the girls are getting together for afternoon tea on Sunday to celebrate my new job :rotfl:Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
popping in again... and will be around more, honest!
Great news on the new job! It's so hard keeping your focus when you're so nearly out of the doorbut it will be gone in a flash.
Nice work with all the leaving dos too :cool:0 -

I completely agree re. right decision to go if they wouldn't give you what you needed - no sense getting wound up about them changing the role now, they've already shown they don't deserve you!
No need to get too stressed over finishing up mind - if it's not possible to do it all in a sensible time, just do the important bits and leave them a list of what's left.

I've had a fab weekend! :j Went for last minute drinks after work on Friday with TM which turned into dinner and a few more drinks, and a generally great catch up
I am sure we will keep in touch when we no longer work together, in fact I think it might ne better when we don't!
Lazy day on Saturday after a late night, then dinner (and more drinks!) at a friends on Satuday night
I managed to fit in a short run at the gym and did some baking yesterday then it was afternoon tea with the girls, that somehow stretched to 1.00am! Was great fun, I'd baked cup cakes which went down really well with some bubbles!
Am very tired this morning - but only 2 weeks to go at work now and I'm determined to work more sensible hours this week and not get stressed by it all
I have my first leaving do tomorrow, but aside from that the rest of the week is pretty quiet socially so it's all about the gym and healthy eating. My weight has stayed the same which I'm actually pleased about (see my weekend above) but I'd really like to lose the remaining 6lbs before my hols in 4 weeks (and as my charity run is only 6 weeks away I need to concentrate on training for that!)
Ok - time to write the week's to do list (and there is a lot to transfer from last week)
