Met Luci and her hubby today and had lunch at Weera Thai.

Had a nice time chatting and catching up.

It was good to meet you both again and we really enjoyed Weera Thai.

It could become the new Bill's for meets!

We've been thinking of booking Presidential's airport web special but are a bit worried that by the time we've got through immigration our hour might already have run out! Does anyone have any experience of using them when flying directly to Vegas?

We're sitting upstairs on our Virgin flight so I understand we'll be the first lot of economy passengers off but I've never actually noted how long it generally takes to get through immigration and in to baggage claim - I just know it seems like ages!

I was hoping to book them to pick us up a bit later than our landing time to be on the safe side but it seems they don't allow you to do that :(

I did a live chat with them last night and the lady told me that for transatlantic flights, they would give me 45 minutes to get thro immigration, im not sure still if thats going to be long enough so think i will just pick up one curbside.

I know its not what you've asked for (hey, I've been slated on here before by posters for not answering what they asked ;) ), but what the hell, I'll stick my neck on the line :D

Could I suggest you perhaps try and put at the most, an hour aside next trip to try and get the perfect picture(s) for you... I promise you'll appreciate it so much more.

you're absolutely right and that would be my number one choice :) but sadly we've not got a trip planned any time soon :(

it's just as well virgin atlantic have upped the hand baggage allowance, so i might be able to take a camera body + lens when the next time comes :D

how cool - I did not know that...that was my life's goal from 8 to 18 so I'm pretty jealous of people who actually did it. :)
My son manages a music shop on Tin Pan Alley and took up semi professionally doing photography a couple of years ago. I must say he turned out very talented (don't know where he got it) playing sax for Bad Manners as well.:D
I'll have a look at some of the stuff he did on his vegas trip and see if anything is suitable. He only shoots in RAW so would be plenty hi res. enough.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I'd hoped you could but someone asked them about it on their Facebook page and they said no.

Might try and have a live chat with them later though and see if they'll give us the same allowance that they offered bluemorph

we were last off a couple of weeks ago, didnt check timings going through customs but we landed at 1440 and were in the Orleans just after 1600, so guessing it took us just over an hour from landing to taxi.

Note to stuie about pool at GN.

The main pool gets full very early (before 8 am) in the morning at weekends.

I did post before that I had booked a lounger for $20 a head in the hideout pool.It is well worth it, as it is yours between 10am and 5pm, it is quiet up there and feels very exclusive.
