Obviously, you must know that none of the working politicians or David Cameron claims child benefits. If they did, they too are scroungers, aren't they? :rotfl:

And those politicians who claims thousands of pounds to buy a new set of dishes and cutlery etc on their expenses aren't scrounging? Why can't they buy the Tesco value range for a couple of pounds? It just as good.

Cameron claimed DLA for his disabled child, even though financially he obviously didn't need the money.

Ironically the very benefit he's now engaged in trying to take off those who really need it and who aren't millionaires.

In the long term yes. What about now? I've got a degree, 2 diplomas and a levels. How much retraining do I need to do?

Obviously in the wrong subjects(joke.....Its New Years Eve) Isn't that part of the problem though?, everyone was encouraged to go to Uni and get a degree ,so many people with degrees which ,if you ask the CBI ,FSB etc many are watered down and they class them as poor quality degrees(not saying yours is).

I will tell you what we do need in my particular industry, Construction.

We need well trained Plumbers, Heating engineers,Joiners,Carpenters and Electricians.I don't mean 6 month courses, I mean real old time apprenticeships.FWIW I think the current and previous Governments have failed abysmally.

There is no quick solution but as I said before EVERYONE including you and I knew the changes would come with a change in Government and TBH Nu-Labour would have been forced to do the same as they could no long finance the "buying of votes" via the benefits system.

Getting off topic now.. Happy New Year BTW..
