just LOVE posts like this. Could say the same about us
Hubby is self employed, recently had massives of work done on the house ( he is in the trade ) oh and a 2 year old car
What people doesn,t understand is that my little boy is special needs, hence the updated car ( don,t talk about this is anybody ) and the funding for our property was through our mortgage and £5k given to us by our parents.
So where we live I bet here has been a net switcher and was wandering if I was on the game....:A Tomorrow's just another day - keep smiling0 -
It sounds like a jealous friend/relative who lives a good lifestyle but loves to be the ONE with the money and is a little bit peeved that their friend/relative is getting remotely close to their standard of living and their car is looked down on by the friends/relatives shiny new car

IF you really have evidence of undeclared income(and I mean evidence not just gossip, hearsay or malicious/false rumours ) and if their business collects/pays VAT then report it to the VAT man, they will be all over him like a rash. If you do have the EVIDENCE, even if he is under the VAT threshold the undeclared income may put him over it and the VAT people are one department that really do not mess about.0 -
Ignore the people who say not to report fraud: these posters have their own agenda. Report what you suspect and let the authorities sort it out.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

But your husband is working so people will just assume he's doing well and can afford to borrow to improve the house and buy a new car.0 -
