Thanks, not 100% understanding though, will forward link to my husband. What does that mean for the future of all these Flash sites? Moshi Monsters, Bin Weevils, etc are so popular with the kids.

In the long term, they'll either adapt or die. For the moment at least it is still possible to 'sideload' Flash onto newer tablets that lack it, if you're willing to do a little digging.
