my own opinion is that we will have a general election in the next six months. that sorry excuse for a party, the lib dems will withdraw from the coalition in a vain attempt at gaining some electrol credibility after they sold their sole to the devil
as for ukip
what are their policies, please remind me for a national party besides europe0 -

That is a great possibility because as many will admit they are 'toast' at the moment, they have paid very dearly to get a taste of power, a party that will arise again from the ashes like the Pheonix, but when?0 -

The feelings of many of our electorate in this present climate, there are a large percentage of both parties who are not impressed with the present leaders, and who can blame then.
It may just be in the favour of the Liberals as their supporters may say, reluctanley that - 'they are allowed one mistake' the other two parties could be in for a big shock. Stranger things have happened.0 -
The Telegraph state....
''What it showed was that despite the media obsession that Ukip is taking Tory votes - which of course we are - what those Northern constituencies showed is that Labour votes are coming to Ukip in real numbers too.''
...So nearer to the General Election it will be very interesting as to how each party will deliver their Mandate in view of the ever increasing popularity of Ukip.
In so far as one can trust it (ie not much) research has started to show that prospective UKIP voters no longer consider the EU their primary concern.
As total disgust with the three main parties continues to grow, this should give them something serious to think about. Then again, this is Cameron, Milliband and Clegg we're talking about, so the verb 'think' doesn't really apply. .0 -

I think that the Mandates of both Cameron and Clegg will try and erase from the minds of the Electorate their broken promises that they both made and will live to regret.
Clegg's promise to the students, whereby he stood before them and promised that there would be no rise in their tuition fees, those words must give him nightmares.
And Labours contribution to the collapse in the economy, allbeit not entirely their fault will be looking at every word contained within their plans.
I know many of you do not like the Telegraph for reminding you of these past few months, but in truth you can run away from it, but you can't hide.
And quite rightly neither can Labour.

indeed! some pundits are even beginning to say 'never say never' We are in strange times that may be mean we can no longer predict based on past results (social media, fiscal cliff, global crisis)0 -
Front Pages on BBC news channel has just shown the Independent with an item (poll results?) on whether the electorate accept the Tory spin on benefits etc. Will look out for tomorrow.
Edit:- This might be what they were on about.

the real danger in voter contempt at the three main political parties is that we start to allow in the fringe parties
