I went to Ryman today to get some bits for our department. So tempting but I saw lots of wantsbut didn't buy anything for myself, I stuck to to the 3 business purchases, I went for the budget lines and with my 10% discount card I helped save the company money too.

Good price! Is that your want allowance for January used up?;)

Haha - maybe I need to set up a new budget for them!
    Bargain well done.

I have just tried it out ;) - only 2 pages of the home binder that I'm sure won't be changed so tried them & ..... have to say ..... I'm impressed:j

It even managed to do one with 2 pages (back to back) in - that'll be fab as it's temps for meat / veg when they're cooked & it'll be great being able to keep it at the front of that section and just flick it over!:D

ok failed a bit today but I wouldnt say it was a want or a need really, just a practical idea. Went into Mr S and they had their kids owl hat and scarf sets reduced from around £10 to £1, matching purse and key ring set reduced to 80p from £6 and pack of xmas cards 25p. brought two hats sets, one purse set and a packet of xmas cards for £2.85 in total. I have two little girls to buy for christmas so they will make great presents, so going into Chrismas 2013 box. I have a savings jar for presents so will take the money out of there and replace in my purse. bit annoyed to ruin a NSD but think it was worth it.

They sound fab - and a bargain, might have to have a nose in my local JS too - better than paying £16 for the scarf and purse in Dec.

Spent £1.89 today (paper & pack of Naans for dinner) - feels SO good & is getting addictive

had a really good day today, not spending again. It's been really busy at work so I'm off home now, we either have Pasta or a mixed grill for dinner.

I agree with Suze1 I'm finding this money saving lark really addictive.

Well, I wrote a list for shopping and I spent £17.86. Loving Aldi! Even talking my own bags so I don't have to spend 3p on them.

So much less stressful come tea time knowing exactly what we are having and knowing it's there in the cupboard/fridge/freezer.

Upcoming Needs; School shoes for DS. I think they might last til half term but something to think about. He takes mens size 10, so they won't be cheap.

You might have needed the Naans for your dinner, but I just wondered, did you really really really need the paper?

Well, yes, because I'm collecting their holiday tokens I need to buy it everyday until I get 10. Do need to adopt that level of scrutiny though :o

Gah! popped into store today and no luck :( annoying thing is that I remember walking past some the other day, in face they were about the only xmas things left and I didn't pay attention to them. Can you believe they are still full price on the website too
