Ok, you've shamed me into becoming a little more organised. One shelf of the paperwork cupboard (Yes I have an entire kitchen cupboard full of paperwork) sorted.
Everyone is doing so well. It's such a completely differnt mindset isn't it? Long may it continue.
Today's high was sticking to my list again and shop came to £4.06. Coming out of a supermarket having spent less than a fiver???? Unheard of.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I want too many things at the moment
Black jeans ( I have some black jeggings that have faded but still do the job for the time being)
Alarm clock (I can use my phone alarm for this)
New chest of drawers ( the drawer fronts keep falling off so tbh can be fixed if I can be bothered)
Cake dome (I love baking so this would be useful)
Better work shoes (bought a pair for £6 a few weeks ago, but I think they make my feet look huge. I will put up with them for work until they wear out)0 -
Hi Everyone,
I am really enjoying looking at my cookbooks and using up what I already have in the fridge and cupboards. I have so much stuff that just sits there! I have in the oven chicken casserole with onions and carrots, baked potatoes with onion and garlic a bit of cream and milk to saute them in and baked apples with sultanas, butter and brown sugar. All cooking at the same time and all left overs or storecupboard stuff.
I am pleased!0 -
So far I have only bought some food that I needed & that came to under £10.00 & my newspaper on Saturday that I always buy.
The best thing is that a friend & I went into our local Lidl to see if anything took our fancy & it didn't! WE both came out without buying anything as both us are usually drawn by what they have in the non food area in the middle of the shop.
I do love charity shop browsing but this week didn't buy anything even though I saw a wonderful bowl for £5.00 which previuously I would have bought without a second thought. I definately didn't need it & it would only have added to the clutter in the house which I trying to clear.0 -

I really liked them, as a PA I love stationery so when I found this project for a house management organisation binder, I know I'm going to be in my element with these free print outs.

Morning everyone
I have been really good and have stuck to my list with my shopping meal planner done and spent £28 for the week :T Did have quite a bit to use up so happy with that.I love the planners and have spent a happy hour looking though them deciding which ones to use so thank you for that.
I have started to do the decorating (I know I am already saying to myself why oh why did I start this) But have had everything lurking around for ages so I need to get on with it.:D And the good thing is I WILL NOT BE SPENDING while I am stuck at home doing it
If I do need anything else I have £90 of vouchers from surveys to use so feeling very MSE and that time doing all them boring surveys will be worth it.
Having a woodburner installed on Thursday so hopefully it will save us money and it is budgeted for and we have been saving for a year for it.
Good luck everyone and lets leave those wants on the shelf
Debt free and Mortgage free thank you to all for your encouragement and advice :j
Crazy Clothes challenge £300/£48 and 5 months /0 without spending :T0 -
Well yesterday i sat and looked through my sisters Nxt catologue, but was really good. I was very tempted to ask her to order me some bits but thought do I really need it. There was a lovely shelf just like i wanted for my kitchen to put all my new christmas present cook bits on, but then looking at it thought I could get the ex to knock me up the metal work and see if one of my scaffolding / builder friends have a old scaffolding board that they dont want as its broken etc and use that and it will look just the same plus I can have made to suit. As ex gets metal really cheap and hopefully wont pay much for board I am sure the shelf will cost me less than the £35 in the cat.APR NSD - 0/10
Paid off in 2013 so far £125.00
April Money made - £18.000
