January's Big Financial Freeze!!!

Wow its been nearly 6 weeks since I last got paid and at the start of the week I had £50 left in my account - now down to £15 as I pad £35 into my c/c.
I am considering cutting open my tin as nothing has been deposited in the past month what does everybody think? Bearing in mind there is only £26 in there - might keep it going at least one more month to see how I get on this month.
Somethings come up with the car this week so theres a potential £200 not going on the c/c just got to wait and see. But at least I wont be paying for it on the c/c like I usually would. I have now officially dropped my Credit limit to £2900 instead of £3k and intend every time I pay off a chunk to reduce my limit every time, so I can see it disappearing.0 -
Hello all!
I couldn't get a delivery slot for this evening so Hubby has said he'll go :eek:ON HIS OWN:eek: tonight whilst I'm working. I have printed out my list from Mr A's website including prices so well see how he goes. It should come to just over £53 but should be less as often the website puts the price of meat as per kg rather per pack. Mind you, knowing him he'll probably hunt through all the packs til he found one at exactly the price I've stated :rotfl:
Another bit of overtime last night and there'll be one tonight and tomorrow night for sure. That'll be £100 in overtime this week (before tax):T It probably doesn't seem much to those of you who do hours of overtime each week but, if I'm honest, I spend 15mins at home each evening proof-checking an email so £20 a pop is flippin' generous in my opinion, not that I'm complaining:D0 -
have another £3 voucher on the way to me....
and a £30 voucher arrived today...
still need to pull my socks up though...
£165.40 total so far...
19 NSD's.
Kind of getting close the the grocery budget though.... (I have loads of food in - but I compulsively spend)...
Stashbuster - 2014 98/100 - 2015 175/200 - 2016 501 / 500 2017 - 200 / 500 2018 3 / 500

Who do you work for? Is there any work going, is it a national company? I am intrigued.
I could tell you but then I'd have to...well, you know...;)
We don't get a lot of overtime really, occasionally at the weekends when there's no-one in the office to respond to emails. Most get sent during working hours. It's just that for the next few weeks, there's one proof that needs checking that can't be sent til after 7pm so it's my turn this week to wait in for it at home
Sorry, there are no jobs going and even if there was, I've a string of friends queueing up already :rotfl:0 -
I used to have guinea pigs so I would know how to look after nannyglady's Rosie.
I have no idea where I got this from but I though Rosie was a pony! :rotfl: MAybe it was all the hay :rotfl:
Anyway two more NSDs to declare, and an extra £85 off the CC from eBay sales. :T
I have to say, I've got so used to NSD that I really have to think if I bought something. They've become completely normal, but I'm still thinking a "normal" day means a spend day so I have to mentally walk through what I did to check!
Looking forward to February's challenge, but it's going to be a tight month for me: moving out of my house means additional cost for van rental and storage. But then March should be super cheap living with parentals, so swings and roundabouts.Total debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -

Declring another NSD today. Did spend £1.69 on a couple of groceries but still within budget.
Lost 2lbs at SW so have come home tired, cold - but happy.
I've now decided that I am going to try and eek the freezer out into februaury and am aiming for March before I defrost and replenish - lots of weird meals ahead!!44 day challenge
1. Pay £650 off overdraft (£ 288/ £650)
2. Lose 12 lbs (4.5/ 12)
3. Use YNAB everyday (6/44)0 -
Is anyone else counting down towards the end of the month now? I have £12 in my paypal account (which I am going to try and leave there if I can), £10 in my purse and £34.13 in the bank without using the overdraft.
In theory I shouldnt need to buy anything, other than maybe a few bits of fruit and some milk so I should be OK, but then again there is still a week to go.
Oh and I cheated a bit. I only put half a tank of petrol in the car, which just means I will spend more next month but hey ho..
And I have just remembered DS2 has been invited to a birthday party so thats a present I need to buy but it doesnt need to be too extravagant.
I was quite pleased because I had to buy printer paper and stamps for work today but managed to do this without buying anything for myself.
Anyway thats my rambling over with. Will be joining you all in the NSD challenge next month!0
