Considering one of the sites at Yorkshire...anyone recommend any of these through personal experience ?

Out of the Haven ones Primrose Valley is the largest and would have the most happening. Then Blue Dolphin, Reighton Sands is only a small park down a very narrow windy lane!! Cayton bay is a small park and only has a tiny 'paddling' pool!! We have been to 43, 45 and 46 and just used the sites as a base to explore the area (which is lovely!). Check the Haven website for more park information.

Oh dear I was banking on School hols down south too there was one that looked okay on daily mail site (Park Resorts Calafornia cliffs) but I thought I would hold out for the Sun and hopefully get a park we really want, Reckon I might live to regret that decision. I got onto the Daily mail site pretty quick once it had opened and there was no Haven or Butlins in the school hols in the south a tall but I guess thats because the likes of Haven and Butlins don't need to sell peak time holidays in this way? Has anyone else ever managed to get Haven or Butlins in school hols? In particular May half term? Through the Sun/Daily Mail promotions.

yes many people have got Butlins and Haven in school hols BUT they go so quickly ! gotta get in quick

Hi we went to primrose valley last year in July. It was great, the only thing was we had to queue to get in to the night time entertainment and if you hadn't arrived by 6 you didn't get a table. I've never had that issue with any of the other havens we've been - marton mere, hafan-y mor but apart from that it was fantastic (loads to do for a 2 year old too).

Cayton bay we went the year before. It was great for an 18 month old but not as much going on as the haven sites but a lovely pub across the road if you wanted a change.

We don't want to travel too far ,we are in lincs, have been to haven golden sands at mablethorpe and butlins Skegness. Had a great time at both
Has anyone been to any of the others in Lincs please,there is just me and one 8 yr old

I'll be waiting tomorrow! I've been on holiday with this offer for 3 of the last 4 years and have really enjoyed it, plus the cost and the weather have been good

We stayed at Fantasy Island once, don't go there! Doubt you will beat Butlins though. I have just booked Oct 1/2 term at Butlins Skegness via the Mail offer so there is still availabilty.
