Sorry, she was on her own most days and she was really well behaved when I wasn't there but if I was here or anyone came over she would be really demanding or destructive for constant attention.
I know I can't give her what she needs and this is probably the best thing, just doesn't seem to make it any easier, although I'm sure she's having a blast!

Thanks for all your help and replies.

    Hi
I'm sure she is fine, I know someone who fosters dogs and they do help sorting out many issues, like the ones you had, and they vet the homes before they are allowed to have a dog. You did the right thing and you should be proud that you took her in and took on the resposibilty care of her,and now she is in a foster home she will find her forever home, and be very happy there.

After reading this thread, it's made me want to rescue a dog :(
  • Hi, as others have said shelters have a lot of staffies, if i were you I would get in touch with your local animal/dog charities, even if you come to an arrangement where the dog stays with you until its forever home is found. At least that way the new owners will be checked out for you by the charity and you may feel better handing her over if you know the new owners have been vetted first. I would be worried about what sort of person may want her and why, hence the charity route would be for me. Good luck what ever you decided and hope she finds her forever home soon
