Evening world:wave:
Had a lovely lovely Buttercup family day at Whitby today and totally enjoyed it:D. Great to spend time with each other away from the home environment. We reminisced just where the time had gone with the little Buttercups , or not so little Buttercups these days:)
Weather was a tad chilly to say the least but the fresh air seemed to perk up our spirits. Mr B purchased the little angels an ice cream each and I duely handed over a fiver and waited outside for the change.......to be told I owed him another 2 quid.....such a soft touch;)
Had a walk up the 199 steps to the abbey and waited in the YHA cafe with a cup of tea whilst the others made use of the English Heritage pass. I was dying to buy a £2.50 slice of coffee cake to go with the tea but I reminded myself of the ice cream stinging and was lead away from temptation:A
Then onto the chippy to purchase a fish and chip dinner - total of £17. Took it back to the car where I had stashed plates, cutlery, salt, vinegar, sauce and a bottle of pop and drove onto a little seaside resort called Sandsend where we parked up and had a semi picnic :T
Happy memories.....the cost....priceless
Enough sentiment from moi

Ooooh it was a lovely day all round:D. Fish and chips were indeed purchased at the shop by the harbour and were lush:T. Have often walked by the Magpie Cafe (the posh one on the front) but the ques and the price always puts me off....hey maybe when I'm mortgage free I may indulge:rotfl: Going back to basics was really great, the raw approach....walking, brisk wind and fish n chips....by heck it's grim up North:DL.B.M Dec 12 mort £91728 (£7327 sec loan incl)

Right, back to life and back to reality after a lovely weekend:D
Starts with Mr Buttercup embarking on a diet/fitness regime....he is still gorgeous but admits the man bo*bies are getting beyond a joke;)
I don't mind because diet means less money spent on food, of course I am not joining in with such antics:)...I'm a perfect 10 but I wear a twelve:rotfl:
Looking towards a £300 op Thursday after Mr B gets paid which includes council tax freebie month so that will be rather nice:D. Still flying solo with my MFW challenge so inward excitement feels naughty but nice;)
May I leave you with a lyric....."carried away by a moonlight shadow"...a song from my youff which I heard on the radio today and reminded me of happy times with my family and not a care in the world:T
Sweet dreams

Not entirely sure if they are all right, but you get the message0 -
Hey gallygirl and elantan:wave:
Thank you for sharing the humour:T. Very much appreciated:D
Today I was reminded of the p word.....prom dress  I cannot hide no longer and I must face up to my responsibilities of being a modern day yummy mummy:rotfl: (said in jest obviously);)? I have got to knuckle down and begin a serious search for the perfect meringue...and by gum do I loathe the entire shopping experience:mad: But I have got to be adult about it and get on with the task in hand......bork!!! So our mission will begin on Saturday and I've just got to be brave:A
May I leave you with the lyric of the day:D. "I saw the crescent....you saw the whole of the moon" ..... Genius:T

They'll be doing their rounds
They'll ask me how I got her I'll say
I saved my money
They'll say isn't she pretty
