  • Good morning, thanks for your replies:D

I've only been married for 18 years and I'm still learning how to cook, far too many takeaways I'm afraid before we had the little Buttercups so even now the learning curve is pretty steep;).

I tend to take any leftovers we have to work for my lunch the next day but its finding the time to prepare good healthy food during the week that I find difficult.

bbh30- I'm quite embarrasing with my Asda wombling sessions. I basically look for other peoples disgarded receipts then put them into the price checker website and if they are not 10% cheaper than the other supermarkets I get money off coupons for my next shop....remember your a womble:rotfl:

    Have a nice day

  • Afternoon:D

Op went through ok and Virgin managed to allocate it to the secured loan part of the mortgage so woopy dooo:T.

I'm a dogs digit away from entering the 80's which is a mega mile stone so should reach that in the next week, can't sleep with the excitement;)......and I'm not kidding:).

Still on a secret mission so feel inwardly proud, may share with the other Buttercup's when I've knocked a bit more of the total off:beer:

  • Wombling rules....ok:rotfl:

My beautiful hormonal teenage Buttercup obviously disagrees with great vigor:D. Infact she believes it's truly skanky and I'm the ultimate stingebag mother...does this face look bothered;)

Much prefers to hide in the Buttercupmobile whilst Mama goes lurking through trolleys.......I have no shame:)

Haha, remember refusing to even wait outside charity shops whilst my own mum had a good old rummage.....how times have changed:T

  • Well the weekend has begun...nearly and it's snowing again - oh joy;)

Think we will have a bbq tomorrow to bring some cheer, oooo you can't beat a bit of ribeye steak to take away the winter blues:)

Going to suss out the prices of meat at the local butcher to see if any savings can be made against Mr A. He's a smashing chap and I would like to be able to give him some business at the right price of course. Wombling also is on my list of activities along with paying the car tax.....bar humbug:mad:

Mr Buttercup has been pricing up some headphones, as have I mentioned previously he is a techno techno techno freak, he asked my opinion if he should purchase new ones or refurb the old ones , guess what I said:). He also mentioned the old ones cost over £150 15 years ago...ya wot!

    A fool and his money......and don't I know it:rotfl:

  • Good evening world:wave:

Went to see the happy butcher and purchased the much longed for ribeyes for tomorrows BBQ, also sussed out his prices for semi bulk purchases of chicken, mince etc and he worked out cheaper than Me A so took the plunge and handed over the dosh:) . Then on to Mr A's for the weekly shop and had a major mega super dee duper wombling session....ie the mutha of all seshes:D. Oh what joy to be able to womble with out the little Buttercup's wamping on;). Anyway really had a good old troll of both car parks and came up with no less than 12 receipts.....total joy....I have no shame:rotfl:

Didn't have time to get the car tax so let's forget about that till next week shall we;). As long as we are legal then that's ok:)

    Have a fab Saturday night
