Do you all set yourself a target of items to get rid of? I'm not sure I have the patience to list everything but I like the thought of setting a certain amount of items to get red of.

I just took loads of spare wood and some toys and a bin bag of rubbish from kids rooms to the skip, also 1 full bin bag to charity...it feels sooooo good :)

mineallmine set us a challenge suggestion of decluttering 500 things in october that why im numbering mine to see how far i get with it. ill stop numbering them after the month end unless we get another challenge

Yesterday I spent 30 minutes or so in the garden securing things that could blow away in the storm, thankfully in the end the storm wasn't as bad here as predicted. Hope you are all safe and well.

I managed to fill a black sack while out in the garden with various empty soil packagings and loads of plastic flower containers that other tenants had left. I also emptied a couple of overgrown flowers into the garden bin.

Gers, good luck with your move to Scotland.

As I missed the last challenge, I'm going to set one myself. I will aim to get rid of 100 items by the end of this month!!! that's 4 days, not including the stuff I took to the tip and charity shop this morning. I've already boxed some books so will count them and carry sorting. It's going to feel sooooo good :)

Edited: okay scrap that, I've just got to 60 in the last 10 mins lol...new challenge is 200 in 4 days
  • I really wish books and videos weren't zero value these days as I have LOADS!!!!

While going through my paperwork looking for a document I found a big pile of old receipts from over a year ago, they have all been shredded now. I have also recycled various cardboards and some old leaflets.
