I will declutter, I will declutter............meaning less to clear away and more time to spend with my lovely family
  • Hello everyone, I am new here and will attempt this as my first challenge. Im going to cheat a bit and add the last 3 days of Jan to Feburarys 100. Let's get cracking! :o
  • Hi all

In a break with tradition I decided to post this morning! I started decluttering my office yesterday :j
I binned a black bag full of rubbish and probably shredded another 2 bags worth of paperwork. I also recycled (back into the stationary supplies) loads of plastic sleeves, folders and a pack of blu-tack.

There is a lot of stuff to go through and lots of paperwork that needs to be scanned and stored electronically rather than in filing cabinets. I think that will take a long time but I will get there.:T

Hi everyone, I haven't actually had time to start decluttering yet (no really :) ) but I have been giving it a lot of thought. Surely that counts for something!:D
Anyway, I left for work yesterday, ironing done, house tidy, kitchen clean - yay! Came home to house that you could stir with a stick😢
I've decided that the quickest and easiest way for me to declutter is to get rid of OH and children :rotfl:

Not sure if this counts but after the weekend I had at work have sat down with my bosses and decluttered 14 hours from my job. Means I will get more time at home to get on top of the cleaning etc and keep on top.

Also means I won't be working weekends so OH will be happy, he works Mon-Fri and never wants to do anything when he gets home during the week, but expects me to want to do things during my split shifts on Sat & Sun afternoons when I get home, so I am always tired as I work till midnight on both these nights. Also less stress as I am taking a step away from Management and just doing admin.

Anyway off to work in a min so must run and get ready, days off tom & Thurs, so will hopefully be able to get some de-cluttering done.

    Have a good day all.

Good morning all  - full day at home for me today - with no grandkids OR GERMS/BUGS - so I'm diving back into the decluttering/re-organising with renewed vigour .............. :j:j

There's a box of assorted coat hangers that's making me feel quite guilty at the moment .............. and I also need to sort out a couple of plastic crates of tinned/packet food and remaining christmas treats.

..... will report back later - keep up the good work everybody :T - Lilyplonk xx

Blitzed our bedroom & bathroom yesterday but all I decluttered was a pot of Avon exfoliating wipes that had dried out & a broken coathanger!
Managed to put away all the washing though & it all looks nice & clean & tidy ;)
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle
