Not the end of the day yet, and the vending machine is calling me in a provoative tone. Not helped by the fact the room I work in is right next to it, argh! So, I thought it best I post up on here to stop myself
I'm still eating my lunch - savoury pasta bake leftovers, but I have an odd savoury beefy crisps craving going on. When I finish this I think I'll go and make myself a cuppa and s-l-o-w-l-y munch the minin yule log from yesterday. It's not beef crisps but here's to hoping it stops me walking zombie-like to the vending machine!
I really don't want to feel gutted at the vending machine breaking a NSDApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -

Good luck Shortie, those vending machines are evil things
So, i have been trying hard to keep to my NSD today, so i decided to work out how much money i am 'better off by' since last summer.
Please to report that by changing BT tarrif and lowering my food bills, i have saved myself £30 a month.
That makes it worth it, and inspires me to have another nsd
Also realized that i still owe £98 on my CC that i thought i'd paid off!!
So paid £60 off that (dont count that as a nsd as it necessary payments, along with DDs, SOs, bills etc).
Sorry, i am babbling again now.0 -

Why not start a little tally of the amount of money you've saved by not going to the vending machine? Or a special pot to put the money in that you would have spent... It may make you think twice.
Not a NSD for me, still stuck on 1, I did have to go out and about and do a few things but have done my weekly shopping a day early this week so that tomorrow can be a NSD. Have got all my stuff for packed lunches so that I won't be having school dinners next week0 -
Right I'm back to report NSD #3 for today :j especially proud of myself as I went to the shops went DH got home, wandered about for an hour but found nothing that I wanted to lose a NSD over
I'm home for the evening and planning on watching a bit of a boxset from Christmas <rock n' roll around here>. We're planning on doing our weekly food shop tomorrow so want to be up early to see what's in the cupboards and plan accordingly.CC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999

Please can i join. I have realised that i spend money pretty much every single day however, over christmas i didn't and even though i got paid less and had to spend more i still had money left. Hopefully this challenge will force me to make my own food rather than going out and buying it. I love cooking but cooking for 1 is depressing.
Anyway, if you'll have me i want to aim for 10 NSDs a month, if i manage that i will up iti already have 1 this month
A bit late to this thread, but I wonder if I can still join in the challenge?
If so, please add me for 10 NSD with 3 in a row.
Thanks!
Welcome to both of you. :T Good luck with the challenge. :T
