Doubt i'll be starting on the gardening today - due to tiredness
But i do need to get on with stuff and that includes moneymaking stuff
Later i'll hopefully start tackling the wardrobes.
Washing machine is doing its thing
I'll sort some bay of e stuff and after listing 2 items will then sort out post.
That way progress will be being madeCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Confession part 2 (final)
So, i went shopping for some new holiday bitsI shopped around thoroughly - loads of different shops and checking out the cheapest sections of these as well. Finally got the few bits i need this week but have *quite alot* to return  - all to do with fitting etc. - i never have chance to try stuff on when there. Anyways i'm happy i've pretty much got what i wanted (a supertrim figure to go with everything would have been nice
). But still its money spent
Last year i tried to get away with clothes i'd mainly got from carboot / already had - upshot was none of the tops were really suitable, 1 skirt and shorts were way too short  - there's no point in spending money on a hol and not being comfy whilst there. I am happy with what i've got though

Ok so my sensible spends have been 'fessed up
But i am happy that they were: sensible, necessary and mostly loved - the only bits i don't really love are the £1 tops i got - but for £1 and they'll do the job and won't matter when they get full of suntan lotion then i'm ok with that
No energy whatsoever today - since being up ill all night i've been fairly out of sorts all dayHope this changes for tomorrow as i have *alot* i want to achieve
Tomorrow i'd like to find and list 10 new items on the bay of e - i've lifted a top out already so that is at least a start.
I'm very keen to declutter some more and hopefully get some much needed pennies in along the wayIt'll be nice if i have the ooomph! to get on with it

Carried on with some paperwork this morning - next up is the wardrobe declutter - got 1 or 2 bits in mind that i need to try on for holiday and make sure they still fit
and also got at least 1 thing in mind that i can list for sale - need to find some extra stuff to go with it too.
Also need to look at finances and see if i can squeeze an extra £50 off target this month - sold a couple of bit on the bay of e and have got the postage money already for them so its if i can find enough spare coppers elsewhere to make it up to the £50...
Will have to check spends diary and get a calculator methinks :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hey Everyone
Chocs - did you say you were running a 10k this weekend / soon?
Hope all are well
I have fairly quickly and painlessly selected 7 items of clothes to list on the bay of e and am having a cuppa :coffee: and quick update / catch-up on here whilst waiting of the pics going on
Less painless was the amount of weight i have gained  - hence some of the items that should have been going on hols i can't fit into  Only just restrained myself from searching and buying on ebay  I am less upset about this and what the scales then confirmed than might be expected. I know this last few weeks / month i have:
- stopped going to the gym
- been eating meals late at night when i get in
- stopped drinking water
- drank loads of tea / coffee / hot chocolate
- grazed throughout the day
All whilst fretting over my ou assignment. I start back at the gym tomorrow and will be putting some of the other things in order too.
After getting these items listed i'll bag them up and then see if i can find the other 3 to hit the target of 20 newly listed items this weekend. I'll also check my money and see if i can squeeze another £50 off this months target :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
TARGET 8 £15001, £1500 - £200 = £1300 (16/05, paypal, MS money, funds left from last month)
2, £1300 - £50 = £1250 (19/05, paypal, postage, train fare)
3, £1250 - £50 = £1200 (24/05, refund)
4, £1200 - £150 = £1050 (01/06, paypal, postage, refund)
5, £1050 -CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Woohoo! inroads are being made on target 8 :T I'm only deducting from the target in £50 or multiples of that - this will make it much easier for me to stay at the target as i will just need to say to myself 'must not go over £1250 overdrawn, must not go over £1200 overdrawn etc.' This will be much easier for me than thinking 'must not go over £511.12 overdrawn' for example
:D
So, so pleased with that too - although i looked around for cashback payable and it seems it might be some months before that comes through :undecided
Wages are a long way off (end of june) and end of this month will be taken up with holidays
Now up to 18 newly listed items - got a few bits to tidy aay from lifting everything out and will need to see if i can find those last 2 items to list - that'll hopefully give the debt repayments a much needed boostAnd of course gets me back in the decluttering swing of things.
I'm trying to be as prepared as possible for my next uni course - which means clearing out as much stuff as i can so my home feels like a home, is easier to clean as there's less stuff about, less distractions of ooh must empty this / move that etc., i may not raise enough money for all the jobs to be done but without the pressure of thinking 'i'm still in debt... need to make sure money in account to pay interest etc.' then i think that'll help too.
As well i want to do as many jobs as i can myself which in itself is moneysaving - so tackling the hugely overgrown garden is on the list :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
The weekend has been horrid. I know i said i wouldn,t vent on here but have no-one else to tell. I wouldn,t be surprised if i arrive home tonight to find that i am single
( I have been trying to look at it from distance / get some perspective but not managed that so far.
It will be a long day in work, although part of me doesn,t want to get home as then i,ll find out if i am alone(

Oh hon, that's awful!
I don't quite know what to say.
When do you finish work? x
*Edit: just saw time of original post so assume you are home.
I hope that things were better than you expected. xxxDebt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Thanks PB - i'm home now - we have alot of things to sort out :undecided - on both sides
I meant to reply to you sorry - i am pretty out of the loop with MS companies now - have just done the odd job here and there throughout the year - think i did 5 jobs last year. I too got very picky with them - you have to be careful and weigh up the fee being paid, how long it'll take to do the job, how long it'll take to get your head around the requirements and how long completing the questionnaire can take - i got sick of spending an hour doing lengthy reports for a fee of say £5. I couldn't honestly recommend any. I have been looking everyday at MS companies and can't find any jobs to apply for and have been really shocked at the low level of some fees  I'd say the best thing to do is check out the MS threads on here as they will be most up to date with the details in terms of who is a good company etc. If you want to holler if you sign up any where and have any questions about a specific ms i can see if i can help - i know i was pretty nervous when i did my first one:rotfl::rotfl:
