oof! That took alot of work - plus i managed to just stop myself from falling down the stairs  Not good as has made the pain worse :( I cleared such a good amount out - i counted the beads in sets and the threads in sets as well - these are after all only small items but if i counted them individually it would've added up to over 200 items - instead i counted them in batches but have got rid of such alot of things that i am very near to the 300 items mark :D i imagine i'll end up decluttering another area to hit this target this weekend :T

Going to have a rest for a few minutes before i get back to it.

    Job 1: - assignment redraft

Job 2: - recipe for slow cooker - check whats needed and write shopping list

    Job 3: - declutter make-up drawer

Hmm might start tea soon - i am really quite sore after hurting myself :o and am finding it difficult to get comfortable and i am also peckish - both things are distracting :p

I have however just finished the first redraft in full and read through it all and tweaked it again :T I realise i now need to just go over some research so will put that on the next mini-list ;) Before i start redrafting :T

I cleared the bag that i needed to and i also wrote out the extra ingredients that i need.

just the make-up drawer that i added on to tackle - this is because i really want to get rid of a make-up bag to just get rid of some clutter - although it is being used right now.

Must say after the decluttering i've already done today it is looking like such a better and clearer house :T which is making it much nicer to be in :)

So yes, i think a bit of tea is in order now and then i'll lift out the make-up drawer to start going through - i've also realised there are some records and ornaments i want to get rid of and that will easily take me over the 300 mark for items decluttered :j

You have done really well, well done :T

Hope your pain gets better soon, and have a good evening :)

Oh - with regards to the laziness - I haven't even managed to make a list of what I need to do, I have been meaning to do that for weeks along with many other things! :D

Hey jwil - if you find anything out with the prices i'd appreciate it :D i don't want to be out of pocket with listings so sadly haven't even got my 99p stuff on there :( It was the manager who served me at the post office and she said even they do not know what the changes will be which kinda put me off looking on-line :undecided

Ahh! you're not lazy hon - you're a new mum with a lovely baby jwil to look after too :D

I have now gone over the 300 items decluttered for this year so far :T I listed over 100 threads the other day but just counted these as 10 items - as they were in batches of colour so really there is alot of stuff that has gone out of the house :j My secret aim is to declutter 2013 items in 2013 - maybe i should have listed those threads individually after all :rotfl::rotfl:

Other things i have re-assessed at the moment are the jewellery jar - its served its purpose - the last piece of costume jewellery i bought goes lovely with an outfit and has been worn several times - it was only £2 :D and this was a couple of months ago. So far i feel cured of the needless purchasing of little things that although lovely the cost adds up as does 'things' in the home. If i start slipping again i'll re-instate this but other than that i am happy that this has worked :D

I need to start thinking about the house jobs that need doing - i already mentioned a couple on here but haven't updated the front page - possibly because its such a big task and a long list of things to have done and have to pay for :(

I am as i have said very much a butterfly character - this has been evidenced by the fact i am part way through decluttering each of the bedrooms - rather than starting on 1 and sticking with it to the end i have flitted in and out of the rooms decluttering bits here and there - they all look better for it :D but are all part done :o What i *may* do for a bit of a break later is get my Mr to help me make a decision on a couple of joint things in 1 room - this will then leave 1 small box for me to do  The room will then be *done* completely - the only other job i could do there is go through the 1000+ pens to see if they work or not - no point at all wasting time - most of them will work - they only got put in there from other places where they'd been used and as the couple of pens i carry round with me need replacing over time i'll re-visit the drawer and the replacements i select will then get tested and thrown if not working. So that is a bit *exciting* - that 1 whole room could be completely decluttered today :j:j - i know - i need more things going on in my life :o :rotfl::rotfl:

Also been thinking about my weight :( *but* in a good way :D My gym program is hard work and i am building it up slowly but often stop for a break / drop to a lower level than i could do if i really pushed myself. Well i've thought about changing my mindset on it - when i'm exercising i'm not really thinking about an end result as it takes more than 1 gym session to achieve a trim toned bod! So now i am going to be thinking about a wedding we are going to next year :D - Obviously i'd like to be in shape before then but its a goodly long-term goal. In the next few months its my birthday so thats a good short-ish term goal - and after christmas in the sale i can look for the outfit to the wedding as it'll be much cheaper to get it then - and even cheaper still if i drop all this weight and slip into an outfit i've not worn for 10 years and chopose to wear that instead :T Thats the goal anywho's :D

Ok - bit late on the breakfast front but i;d best get that and then get back to it :)

    Hi everyone :)

It seems has been such a long time since i posted. i have not been having a good time of things and did not want to just come on here and grumble :o Work has been particularly horrid :( and i've found i've been coming home and fretting about it afterwards too - so much so i have not got a single other thing done :( i have now finished work for the weekend though :T and will even get monday off :T so a nice few days. Although i absolutely *must* finish my assignment - the deadline is monday so i imagine i will be very busy with that this next couple of days  I have done a redraft and still have a fair bit more to do - i intend to devote most of tomorrow to this and will set my alarm early to get up and crack on :D

I am going to make the most of my time with my Mr today as sunday & monday will be assignment days. We are going out together later this afternoon and have had this planned for a while so i am just going to go and enjoy it and put in the work tomorrow and monday. We have not been getting a lot of quality time together lately so i am not going to fret about other things and just go and have a good time.

*Positive vibes* please for the assignment - it has been the toughest piece of work i have ever done and i'll be glad to get it out of the way though i'll be scared about the grade too but it is just best that i get something in and work hard on the next piece.

I have also been fretting about the house and the work that needs doing on it. i am still playing money catch-up since the start of the year :( and expect another utility bill next month which will make things hard for that month too. On the house i am desperate to get the guttering done but no idea how i will find the money for this - it all needs replacing including the board bits behind / beneath it ? :( I must also be running out of saleable stuff. I was lucky to get a few sales this week giving me a bit of money to keep me afloat on food and petrol. What i really need is a substantial amount of sales at a good price in a month and use that for the guttering. i am not sure quite what else i can declutter though? I will add the guttering onto the front page of house challenges. I am also putting the windows on there - i have a plan to get these done nearer the end of the year so hopefully could get all the house done if i can earn anything extra towards that. This will help with the cold and the guttering will help in the general maintenance of the house too. There are so many other jobs that need to be done as well.

Hope everyone is well and i hope to catch up with you all soon xx

Hmm... Today's not going as well as i had hoped. First of all i was up later than i would have liked - i have been very tired lately (thyroid) and although my medication needs increasing this is being delayed due to hospital tests and so on. In the long run hopefully this will make me much better but not today - especially when i *have* to get this assignment done. I'm going to do something else on this in a bit when i get a bit of time to myself.

i am absolutely not happy with what i have done but i just need to get rid of it now!! Any *positive vibes* gratefully received :o

On the fretting about money and new guttering - i've decided to part with some more clothes - i'd happily keep them but i really need the money now. I'll get some new stuff listed tomorrow i hope its free listing still then - also need to sort out whats going :o maybe a bit of a lengthy process.

Hi elly  Thanks for popping by and posting and the positive vibes too :D Yes thanks i got a list of the new prices  Its a bit of a worry that being slightly out on something could see me out of pocket as it is quite a big change i think

I was just popping in to update. In a few minutes i will put the oven on for tea. Then i am going to do the final (and very difficult) part! Then i need to reduce how much i have written and i am then going to get it submitted  Like i say i need to be rid of it now and on with the next one - its terrible i much prefer my course to my job but right now i am looking forward to the summer and a bit of a break :o

I hope to then be able to relax a bit with my mr tonight and then tomorrow get on with the next assignment  It is all fairly constant. I had to get away from typing for a minute so i did a bit more decluttering - i am trying to be good at the moment and every time i nip upstairs for something i am popping into the spare room and looking and assessing things - More clutter out for the carboot and hopefully more pennies in if they sell :D
