So i got a decent amount of stuff listed yesterday and also alot of things tidied that have been needing to be done for a while which is good
Got about halfway through my re-draft but the unexpected visitor scuppered quite a bit of time - can't be helped i suppose!
Spurred on to really try and get rid of as much as possible and also to try and keep a track of where my money goes - we're in march and i'm still playing catch up on the insurance, tax, 4 x utility bills  car tax this month and then i'll also have to pay for the car insurance this month. All these big bills are holding me back on throwing money at the mortgage or into savings but i also know there is no way around themAt lease next year i won't have the tax bill - they may even owe me money which would make a nice change - i can't imagine much will change between now and the end of the tax year.
Right being harried into going out now so will don my walking boots and then this afternoon i'll pop back on with a mini list - realised as i only got rid of 1 scarf i can't clear the landing without clearing some other stuff first so may have to promote those things onto this weeks to do list.
I also really want to get the last few bits of things listed that i've found and lifted out then they can be put in the leaving the house pileCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Well done on all the listing and decluttering. You are doing really well!
I feel your pain with the bills, we've just had a huge gas and electric bill, _pale_ got to find that now."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Oh the horror stories I could tell you two about electricity bills...you have no idea! _pale_ :rotfl:
I'm pooping it, though, as my car insurance etc. is due in June and I don't think my budget has been as thorough as it should have been as I haven't put anything aside for it, despite my best intentions. Once all this work nonsense is out of the way, I really need to sit down and go through it all with a fine toothed comb again, but I haven't got my head in the right place to do it at the minute....having said that, if I had the time to list all the Ebay stuff I have, I would be rolling in it, if anyone would buy it! :rotfl:Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! I've written a mini-list of my extra outgoings this next couple of months - car insurancenew glasses
- no budget for either. O/D has built back up
and i had to borrow £100 which i need to pay back - this was just to get me through on essentials til payday
Thanks for the positives though - decluttering makes me feel good but its not going fast enough
Good luck with your sales too hon xxCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Hey Everyone,
Hope all are well ? Bit put out at the minute as when we went out yesterday i kept stressing the need to get back (before we went and whilst out) so i could get on with my assignment etc. - Ended up out nearly all day just getting back early eveningBy then i was hungry for tea and too tired to do anything too productive - just got the stuff i'd set up on bay of e - Got 32 items on there in the end so thats good. Really hope for decent sales and prompt payers:
Urgent bills:~
£100 borrowed til payday
£??? car insurance - will be circa £300
Hmm... so i'm tired now after a very long day in work and i've to try and catch-up withn my assignment stuffWill look at how i got on with my list and then i can try and re-motivate and energise myself!

You have every right to feel irritated by things that make your life even harder than it needs to be when you already have a lot on your plate. I feel for you and wish I could say or do something constructive to help.
Good luck with progressing the assignment this week. I am sure it will be a great relief to get it finished.Mortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Thanks Chocs - 30 minutes re-draft sees me over half way there but i really need to be more awake and focused for this so gonna call it a night - i will be glad to just get it in but anticipate my poorest mark

Woo! Up early and super fast post before i head out to work but got a good 30 minutes re-write in and pretty much took me to very near the end of the final first re-write so i'll crack on with that tonight when i get back from work and then again in the morning - which i'm secretly hoping will be the start of draft 2. Part of the reason i really want a notebook / netbook thingy is to be able to continue on work on the 3 hours round trip and the 1 hour lunch and the 30 minutes i arrive early into work! Oh well
Urgent bills:
Charity do
Ou course
Car insurance
£100 borrowed
Meal (mothers day as remembered below)
Easter - 1 rare and glorious day out

Gonna try and scrawl some sort of budget together - what i really need to do also tonight if possible  Is get on the comparison sites then i know the cost of the insurance and also to check out any cash back thats available.
