You are doing really well with the to do list. I understand completely that editing and polishing an assignment takes longer than the original draft. Just got to keep plugging away at it.

I have got loads of things to do today. May even rival your list ;)

    Write up 4 MSs
Dig out old info for charity
    Prepare meeting papers for charity
Write thank you letter to donor
    Ironing
Get to SB target for day
Put jeans on E bay (discovered they were too small when I went to put them on yesterday!)
Deal with 4 pieces of post sat on my coffee table. There are many to choose from, so will be looking for some easy wins.

    Will report back later....

Aw thanks for the support and understanding chocs - but i wouldn't say the original draft was a draft as such :o - so i'm pulling it all together into (hopefully) a coherent draft and then the redrafting can begin - i've at least 6000 words to go mind

Wow you have got alot to do today - i don't envy you those MS reports - i was meaning to ask you who do you work for on MS's now ? I'm thinking of doing some again in the summer - right now i just don't have the time for it :o i have no idea how i used to work 2 jobs and MS and surveys etc. :o

That's great that you do charity work - i have volunteered at various places in the past i may look to do some more work soon too - again though although charity work is incredibly important i think i'd need to take that on when i've more time in the summer then i can be fullt committed to it too and then once i've got a grasp of it it'll be easier to keep up with when the new study year starts.

Will be good to see how you get on with your list :) Although you have reminded me about some correspondence i need to look at :o

Job 1: - continue putting writing in order

Job 2: - move at least one piece of paper from the box of all things (in the living room so is getting decluttered ;))

    Job 3: - move cushions

Job 4: - decide on the funky baseball boots

Putting the writing in order is hard going but will be better once i've got it all done - i'm also finding i get to the point where i need a break so the tidying up / decluttering / other jobs on the list are all helping with having a break  and then i'm ready to get back to it :T

Got just a few new to list items on the bay of e done as well - the boots and sortof sewing machine i need to make the decision on as they will be listed if they are going as well. It is good to get a few more things out of the house as well :)

It is really cold here today quite breezy but no snow thank goodness :) Rightio back to it!! Writing first :)

Job 3: - make decision on sewing machine

    Job 4: - wash pots

Well i got all those bits done on the last little list and not only are the baseball boots going but so are a pair of shoes - this has created room in the wardrobe for a pair of boots that had been sat in their box on the bedroom floor just near the wardrobe so decluttering and tidying all at the same time which can only be good :D

Hmm i'm having to make tea although my mr should have been doing this - it can't be helped we are both not feeling great today but not so poorly that we don't want to eat anything. I'll have to start that then shortly but am just getting these 2 new listings sorted out for the bay of e.

It sounds like you are making good progress on all fronts. I wish I could say the same. The only thing I have decluttered is food!

Ok i got 2 lots of writing done but didn't make the decision on the kinda sewing machine so: -

    Job 1: - sewing machine

Job 2: - move 1 item from the box of all things

Job 3: - start the bag up of living room items

Job 4: - complete listings for flw

then update on here and see if i have the energy to write any more - i need a break from it just now

The MSs weren't that bad - it was just the thought of doing them. They were sponsored by a manufacturer wanting to know what the sales people were telling customers about their product. They aren't interested in the customer service side or what exactly was said, so it was mainly a box ticking questionnaire.

Dig out old info for charity
Prepare meeting papers for charity - will be deferring

  • OK, I think at 9pm on a Sunday, I'm calling a day on the to do list. I am quite proud of myself, though, for what I have managed to get done. Thanks for inspiring me :) Sometimes I just let tasks like paperwork slide and then it is psychologically hard to tackle. There is still much to be done so I feel another to do list coming next weekend.
