Aw Thanks Chocs - although i did go  87 items  - I had just copied and pasted the items missed from last weekend so i've re-numbered them and there are 60 items in total - still plenty but almost 1/3rd less than it seemed
And i've done quite a few of them - alot of the stuff on there is just the recurring necessary things like keeping on top of the washing - i *should* also be keeping the house tidy so this is a way of trying to manage that too by identifying a few items to shift and not get tyoo overwhelmed with it all
This module ends at the end of May and then i hope to start my final module towards the end of the year. Thanks for the well wishes on the assignment too - it has been really tough going going to do some more on this today.
Thanks for the well wishes on the bay of e stuff too - have you any items on there at all ?
How is the running going chocs ? I was struggling to get back into mine but now i just keep forgetting to update what i've done
I have a few bids on the bay of e - not enough for travel costs for 1 week let alone 4 but its a start and the items don't end until next week so time for all of that to change too.
Rightio breakfast and then a bit more of a start on the day - will do 20-30mins writing i think broken up with other stuff :T
I'm in work all day tomorrow and sunday but am going out for a meal straight after work sunday which should be really nice - just hope i'm not too tired to enjoy it and that i've made enough progress on the ou stuff not to be fretting about that tooCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Woo! So glad to have got a proper run in :T and to have decluttered and tidied a few more bits which is all good
Still alot to achieve on the assignment front - need to pull together what i've written so far and make a decision on a couple of things.
Tomorrow i'll try and get that last question answered on my NVQ at work - depends on how busy it is - personally hoping for a pretty quiet one so i can get this done - not too quiet that the day drags but also not so rushed
I'll take my ou stuff with me as well - i'll aim, if i'm awake enough, to get the next section done on the train and failing that in my lunch hourLeaving me just 1 section to do which i can start on the train home or maybe in the evening when i get back :T
I'll need to work on my writing tomorrow night after tea and also on sunday morning before work. I'll take my dress into town with me to return as i'd hope sunday would be a quieter day
I realise i've not decided what to wear to work on sunday and also for the meal - whether to just wear what i wear to work - probably will but need something suitable and warm enough as its really cold! Brr!
Checked banks again and direct debits have been paid, got the money for next weeks travel but that is it - really hoping the sales work out for me on the bay of e
What's everyones plans for the weekend?CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi All, I've been updating my list and realised i've not done a proper post so here i am
i actually did start a post yesterday but i was such a grump and out of sorts that i decided i needed to take some time out and so had cocktails and watched movies for the evening  I have alot to do on my assignment but my head wasn't in the right place at all. Work was really tough yesterday - i didn't get the chance to do the last question of one of my NVQ booklets so can see a job for monday now hey ho! Today i am hoping won't be as tough but i expect it will be busy and with my hours i won't get a long enough break to complete the question (its quite a long-winded thing).
I'm just letting my breakfast settle before i shower - i am one of those people who can't eat and then get in water it just makes me feel really illso i thought i'd potter on here for a few minutes before going getting myself ready for the day
It does look like a nice day too but it looks a little chilly still so i should be warm enough with what i'm wearing - just need to decide on the coat really - i hate it when i put on a big warm coat and then end up sweltering - much better to put on a smaller jacket with the knowledge that i won't be stood in any one place for any length of time - except at the train startion and even there i can pace up and down if necessary :rotfl:
Once again the knowledge that if i lost some weight i'd have alot more choices on what to wear has come to lightFor now though i'll just have to be happy with what i have decided to wear today
Hope everyone has a good day xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hey DDFW  just catching up. As usual you've been very busy
I wouldn't take on permanent extra hours at work - that job causes you so much hassle and you've got so much on. Could you maybe get overtime rather than extra hours?
Hope your ebay sales go well, and have a good day today"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Jwil - how lovely of you to stop by - i hadn't properly messaged you as i figured you'd need time at home with your new babyI am so very happy for you
:j thank you so much for your input
You and chocs are both right - i am just so skint all the time so i think i was going 'ooh extra hours = extra pay' but when i worked it all out properly i really wouldn't benefit so much at all with extra money - it worked out a lot less than i'd been hoping forSo i've decided not to put in for it. I have considered overtime but can only get this rarely and even then its normally an awkward saturday night afternoon / early evening slot so not worth it for me as it would just effect my whole weekend too much. Back to the drawing board on this i guess

Loads to achieve this week and next - feeling pretty tense over my assignment so if you could all be positive again for this and send those positive vibes this way that would be amazing
I've such alot to do as well as working all week  I have decided for the rest of this week to just work on 1 item at a time from my list in addition to cracking on with the assignment - hopefully this will make me feel better as i cross things off - achieving stuff and getting the house in better shape  That is the plan hopefully
I'm going to go to bed in a mo. hope for a more substantial update soonHope everyone is well

Hi DDFW
I hope the assignment is going well. I know you said it is a very busy week for you so take care and look forward to the weekend (she says, assuming that if you were at work last weekend, you may get this weekend off!)

Thanks chocs - super struggling on this assignment _pale_ no idea how i'm going to cobble it all together
So yes it will be a busy weekend. I've got a family event to go to this weekend too - just the evening and its not something that its appropriate to duck out on so will have to squeeze that in as well  hoping the time off though will help me re-focus.
I'm hoping to get at least 2 runs in this weekend too - its good to clear my head if nothing else
Oh and yes you are right - no work for me this satday and sunday - just 2 full on assignment days - really hope i can make this take the shape it needs to
Popped a couple of bits into the carboot stash.
Items ended on the bay of e - got a few sales - possibly enough to pay 1 more weeks travel to work - i also need petrol - not sure if there's anything extra to cover that though
I'm tired and i struggled getting up this morning
I've finished one section on the NVQ now - will muster up the enthusiasm after next week for the next bit - i hope
How are things with you chocs ? Are you ok ? Have you been keeping up with the running ?CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
