*yawn* its my own fault really
there was a really inconvenient power cut last night cue the lighting of candles which was nice and ok for some light but not sufficient to read by and of course not safe to carry around for tidying / decluttering purposes so the lack of light for a good few hours certainly stopped play. I tried to read by torch light but the glare was hurting my eyes
I wanted to go to bed but the power cut had caused several alarms to go off and when the power eventually came back on this would then set off my alarm so i couldn't rest in the odd suspended time of waiting :undecided So i was certainly held back on my long list of weekend tasks.
I did get *some* things done before the lights went out so i'll update these and ponder getting a wriggle on with some of the other stuff today tooWill add to the list to as needed so i don't forget things

Morning all
I hope to power ahead with some things on my list today - mainly assignmentI've already selected and got 2 items ready to list on the bay of e but haven't photo'd these yet - 6 more and i'll meet the target i set for me and PB - *must* find more things to list
In fact i've sorted out a couple more bits to go for the carboot - although i set the challenge of decluttering 365 items this year i'd really like to achieve substantially more than that. I'm only counting my own or joint stuff.
50 pages to go til the end of my current book so hope to declutter this today
Still not got around to sorting those 2 drawers out that i mentioned the other week.
I've decided to squeeze £100 into savings today and then hope to catch up on the £300 that i'm behing on for this target - mainly from making extra selling stuff so need to keep up with this.
We're booking our holiday today too so very exciting stuff there!
And in not such exciting news the tidying up is plodding on.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Thanks for the support everyone
So i am going to have little bursts of activity for the rest of the day until mid evening - at the moment i'm getting a few pictures loaded up onto the bay of e - always so very time consuming i find ! Anywho's these are pictures of some newly selected items - i am now up to 5 items of the 8 needed to hit the 20 item target i set  no idea where i'll find the rest from
Once i've got these one's on i'll photo the 2 i missed getting pictures of - may as well do it whilst the lights good and then throughout the rest of today i need to find the other 3 items to hit target
I'll do that inbetween writing so my intention is to write and then have a break by doing something else, then write some more and so on :T Best update my list so i know what else i have left to doCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hey Everyone
I've done at least 1000 words on the assignment - but i'm really not sure about it - i'm not sure about the subject for this one - plus i'm attempting something new and i'm not sure on that either. All this notsureness is bothersome but i figured i'd either not be doing anything assignment related or i could just crack on with it and if i need to change it later so be it! I couldn't have worked on a different subject right now as i've not come up with anything else. So to sum up i felt it was better to write something rather than nothing
Excitedly got to 100 items decluttered :j Ideally i'd like to see that become 1000 or even 2012 items decluttered by the end of the year  For now though i really need to find the final 2 bay of e items to take me up to the grand total of 20 items decluttered for the challenge :T
Ok - i've got to go and find 2 items to list for sale and i've got to make sure i relist everything in the next 30mins or so, i've got to do the next 500 words of writing and also carry on with the tidying quest - i may have been quiet on this front but i have been moving carp from the sofa of doom in the living room and spent a very few minutes clearing the top of the chest of drawers in the bedroom - hopeful more progress will happen before the end of the day - it always feels like i've achieved something when i've got a niggling task out of the wayOf course having less stuff = less stuff to tidy away and more room to put those items in that i am tidying away too
I mentioned the shoes earlier - i've done quite well so far this month - i bought shoes which were on my list of needs and also i bought a dress as mentioned abouve but this was for vouchers and for a specific event we've been invited to. Next month i aim to spend £0 on clothes etc. Although this month i spent £21 on 3 pairs of shoes and 1 or 2 may be returned but i think they were such a good price for them in the sale and were needed so i'm not going to beat myself up over it xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
I've relisted about 8 items and have bids on 2 and watchers on another 2 so I'm quite happy...I've realised that listing them mid Saturday morning seems to be a good idea...self-explanitory, really. Silly PB!Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Well done on everything you've achieved, that's loads! It's great that you've managed to get so much done on your assignment too, and 100 items decluttered :T :T
Positive balance - that's really interesting about the Saturday morning - that's one day I've tended to avoid listing thinking it would be quiet. Maybe I'll give it a go!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
