Well I was under the £10 on shopping despite buying some strawberry and lime cider:o meant to have a look for prawns in a$da though and forgot - probably just as well...

So this morning I have been mainly ironing... and wishing the sun would come out:o it's a bit cloudy but I'm going to drag DS off to one of the forestry places for a wee walk - need some air:D

Anyone else have a slow cooker but struggle to cook anything edible in it? I have decided I shall cook a new recipe in it each month and see if I change my mind but if it doesn't change it's tune it's going...

Mine sits on the kitchen work surface looking forlorn. However I did use to use it when I was in the NE and think I will start again once I am living on my own.

Well me and me laddo went out for a walk and in my mindless optimism I was convinced the rain would stop when we got there.... of course it didn't and clouds were rolling towards us so turned the car round and went to nearest village for coffee and cake - very nice it was too but not a very MSE day:o

I think the past weeks great weather has had a lot of us fooled ... I had planned on spending hours in the garden ... Managed about an hour all together but had to go in and out between showers :(

Coffee and cake sounds fun though ... I bet you didn't have to force his hand up his back lol

So tie dye ... Is it easy ?

No, he was a willing participant in the coffee and cake part of the day:D

Tie dye - wash item (£3 vest from asda) and leave damp, tie knots in, swirl around in dye for 15 mins then leave for 30 mins, wash in machine so quite simple even for me:D I think I would tie a knot in a different way next time to get a different effect, I shall wear it though...
