Birthday baking here - discovered if you are doing a bain marie thing with a bowl bigger than the pot and leave it to cool over the pot it creates a vacuum... after much tugging and cursing I turned the heat back on for a couple of seconds and solved the problem:o

I feel bad leaving DS in on his own El, always feel I should ask if it's not for work, mind you at his age I was babysitting for other folks kids til all hours and the reality is he'll probably go out with his pals til 9:30 when we'll get back anyway:D He's fine with it and rolls his eyes at me:o
There will be weeding if you fancy it but I was think more sea air and coffee/cake...
