So today I need to make a shopping list but inspired by others I'm going to use up stuff in cupboards and freezer and hope I can get by buying only a chicken, milk and fruit/veg so a tenner for the week?
Tonight will be venison sausages, HM potato wedges and veg :)

Last week of school coming up and DS has asked me if he can get a new bag for next year as his has ripped, didn't realise I was such a meanie :o - only had same one for two years because he said it was fine and he was trying to avoid a shopping trip:D

Aww bless him, at least he isn't like some and demand a new bag every year when there is nothing wrong with the current. Back when I was in school *rolls eyes* some of the students in my tutor group had a new bag every term! I asked one once where the perfectly good pervious terms bag had gone... They answered landfill  I still have the same packbag now as when I started school in year 7 (unsure if it works the same up there) and its still going strong :D Well done for bring your son up with such a great attitude to use things untill they are unrepairable :T

We will side skip the fact he doen't want to go shopping :rotfl:
