Thank you El, just lucky that I have no other debt I think:) DS is constantly growing though so shoes and trousers are being bought every other month and he eats like a horse:eek: Not sure I'll have a job in the new year so making the most of the OPs now:)

This month is the last month of gym membership though so that'll be a big saving each month and if I can get my act together I could save a bit on the groceries too but just seem to be a bit disorganised right now:o

I'm awfy disorganised as well... I notice when I'm organised life is that wee but easier for me, but I also find it's easy to get way laid and have to start again

Can't help with DS and the eating and growing... But you have my total sympathy ... I remember it well .. I could never feed mine ( and invariably all his friends as well) enough, it was like a plague of locusts going into the kitchen after him ... And as for growing ... Sheesh I commanded him to stop but he just wouldn't listen... The price of trainers would have me pulling my hair out sometimes

Another £150 off the mortgage:D Another month off too so getting closer to 2027 now...

Had some mulled cider last night in front of film with LM, both asleep before end of film so very relaxing but think I'll maybe add some stuff to it next time for extra zing, only £3 out of one of the cheaper german supermarkets so all good.

Not sure if I'll make it to uni today as the trains are cancelled and despite falling asleep before eleven I think we were both awake on the hour every hour with gales hitting the flat:( DS on the other hand slept through it all and is just moaning about his walk to school - will I give him a lift?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Lights are flickering so glad I have gas cooker as we might be sitting round it later:D

I've ordered LM a wee DAB radio using supermarket vouchers - we agreed we weren't going to buy each other anything so a bit sneaky but will tell him how much I spent:D

Also as I didn't spend my train fare today I've split the money and transferred to my savings accounts, it's not much but every little helps...

Final week at uni for the year but only some things running just unfortunate they are spread out all over the place - only one lecture today but it's 4 - 5 so won't get home till 6:30 :( Also got an final piece of work due for Friday so that's tomorrow's job. Not sure where housework shall fit into this plan but shall try and squeeze a wee half hour in a day so it doesn't get on top of me.

A couple of days out organised for this week so might be a wee bit spendy and need to get some Christmas pressies bought:o

Should be close to breaking into the £41Ks by the end of the year but not close enough so might try and skim some money off other budgets just to do that... think I need £80 or so... there should be £30 excess in current account so I need an extra £50...
